Worst movie theatre in kamloops. Seats are falling apart, weird stench throughout the building, paint peeling off the walls, employees that don’t know how to do their job, terrible audio quality, arcade that wasn’t working, unfinished flooring, wallpaper missing from the wall, and horribly disgusting bathrooms. we could hear the audio from the movie playing in the next theatre during our movie! the movie was good, but the experience was ruined by the lack of quality. would not recommend and i will never be back. 0/10
It looks like they have been doing renovations for a few months now and haven't done anything since. The seats in theatre 5 were extremely uncomfortable, my wife and I were sore from the seats. And what is up with the commercials? 20 minutes of commercials is a bit excessive. You can do better than that.
The customer service here is terrible, they sold me cold popcorn and then when I asked for a warm one they told me that cold popcorn was all they had. I tried to reach out to head office to solve this privately but they have not responded over the last month. It’s the only theatre in town and I love going to the movies but after my experience I will never step foot in there again. Aside from the rude staff, inside is pretty dumpy, the seats are worn out. Horrible theatre.
Theater six is getting old. Seats are punched out. Not sure if the sounds is bad too or if the movie wasn't working properly. Surround was good but center channel was muffled.
Absolutely love coming here with friends and family. I thought the movie theater scene died but its alive and well. I found it to be not that busy, and quite enjoyable.
Worst, dirtiest movie theater I have ever been to. In the AVX/DBOX theatre, make sure you don't sit in the back row as the peoples heads in front of you take up a good portion of the screen. Never experienced that in any theatre I have been to.
Always a good experience, although the lineups we're quite long for the concession and the prices now out of sight! But that's normal these days
I went with my teens to Rise of Gru the other day. I booked my tickets online and had no problem getting fantastic seats. The popcorn lines were short and tons of tills were operating smoothly. Popcorn, pop and candy cost me 65 bucks... But that's nothing new. The theatre was SO CLEAN compared to how it used to be. We enjoyed the viewer experience completely!!!!
This is the worst Cineplex I ever been to. The seats are filthy and broken. The baseboard was removed so was the flooring. The wall paper was peeling off the wall. There was 2 toilets in the theatre!!!! I've never seen that before. The fire panel was removed with wires hanging off the wall. Not sure who owns this but wow does it need to be renovated.
The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty, I had hope that they weren't dirty like the last time I went. But I go into the mens bathroom downstairs and I open the door to see a huge mess right by the toilet. This wasn't the only mess I was shown , as I approached the front doors I was greeted with Wendy's garbage all over the front steps. Also the seat G19 is broken in theater 1 I believe, laying halfway off its hinges. My wife said that the ladies bathroom downstairs didn't lock either, this cinema is falling apart and at this point it needs gutted.
