Dune was great.. bought a chicago popcorn online.. was a bit unhappy when i saw it in an industrial bag. Not fresh at all :
This has been the worst experience I've had in a movie theater in a long time, possibly ever.nnNot only was the popcorn not hot, as the bags they hand out are premade/preportioned probably hours before we arrived, the bags were barely 3/4 filled. They also didn't have large size popcorn, only medium size, seemingly as to give as less popcorn as possible.nnTruly a dying brand. They charge you fees for online ticketing, all the while having next to none actual employees selling tickets, and you're forced to pick places ahead, without having the option to leave an empty seat between you and others strangers.nnOne could be tempted to chalk all of this to cinemas being a dying industry, their survival through the cheapest practices possible being their sole concern, but that wouldn't be fair to other brands like Cinéma Le Clap, who still know how or care to provide costumers with a great experience worth a hundred times the couple extra bucks going there would cost compared to Cineplex.nnPeople say streaming is the future of movie watching. Compared to the experience I had at Cineplex Odeon Beauport, I'd say they certainly are right.nnThe movie was great, though.
