CIBC is the best bank in terms of customer service. me and wife had an awesome treatment at denman and robson branch with Shraddha Nair. She is very professional and very polite. We didn’t have any appoinentment but when she saw us, she assisted us right away till the end. keep up the good work. more power to u guys

Mariam Hatam walked me through all the options and practical scenarios to open an account with credit card. She was very patient, trying to recommend the right products and understanding of my situation. The free parking in Safeway underground right next door is a good bonus.
This branch is conveniently located near home for a quick run the the ATM. Staff is friendly on every visit. Yesterday we had an appointment with Ali Far, he was attentive, receptive and listened to the things we wanted to discuss. We broke things down for us to understand about our accounts and services in better detail. Overall he was excellent at the branch and also over the phone. There was one item we forgot to discuss when we left, but after reaching out by phone, he called back and took the time to resolve the issue over the phone.
CIBC is awesome, this branch is awesome and Ali Far is Awesome! I had issues with updating my PR card to increase the limit on my credit card to get a new one for the last 2 months. All I had to do is to come down and meet this Saint Ali Far for him to solve all my issues in literally 8 minutes. Not only I increased my limit on my credit card, but I am also getting a new one and got notified that my credit score is awesome. If you are visiting this Branch Ali Far is your guy!
They have no tellers so it seems like a waste of a prime location. It’s basically just atms and someone to tell you to go to VanCity or RBC and ask them to help you where they will be extremely confused, but help if they can. Makes no sense. Don’t go to this CIBC unless you exclusively need an atm or want to feel like you’re living in a bad dream where banks don’t do the only things they exist for.
As if it wasn't bad enough with how they were constantly understaffed and you had to wait forever for a teller, they have now renovated and only have one teller, can't accept rolled coin and if you want to cash a paycheque or cash they direct you to a machine. I don't understand why they didn't just close instead of basically making it a room that provides all the services you have access to on your phone app or on the ATM. Basically a useless room. I'm not going to West Georgia to do my banking so I will be moving to another bank.
Have been with CIBC for 4 years and have never experienced a worse interaction than with this branch. They never answer their phone during work hours, even after they leave a message asking to call them back. They seemed unclear that they had been sent a VISA that they told me they had.
They basically do nothing in this branch except opening a new account! I booked an appointment for services which based on the CIBC website can be done at the branch, and went there to make three different major changes to my accounts and line of credit, but unfortunately they told me that all they can do is to provide me a room to call a service center and do them over the phone! I don't know why they really waste people's time by letting them book an in-person appointment in this branch..
