This is hands down the best CIBC branch. The Financial Services Representative, Tushar, is absolutely fantastic. I was in the US for a visa appointment at the consulate and desperately needed bank documents at last minute notice. Tushar was super helpful and got me everything I needed signed and stamped even though he was short staffed and had little time to help. Best customer service I've ever received at a bank . Thanks again Tushar!
Horrible customer service - CIBC lost my credit card and when i went into the branch for assistance they refused to help me what so ever - essentially told me to go away and the could do nothing for me and said to google the online phone number in which i’ve been on hold for over an hour. If i could switch banks i 100% would this is horrible - given another chance i would not trust my money with this branch
super helpful staff, really easy to set up an account as an international resident - and they made time for me as a walk in client which other banks are often unable to do.

Bussed into town to put 500 dollars into bank. Bank machines are both down they cannot accept my money. I cant pay my bills. Most useless bank. Takes 17dollars from me then I cant use devices after bussing in. People who for here are stupid. I'm a cibc customer for like 15 years. Goodbye.
I am not a native english speaker or a Canadian, so I have more questions with my banking and sometimes its hard for me to understand fully at first time, but they always respond me with patience and friendly attitude, that makes me feel more comfortable to go there: Thank you! btw def not like those rude and impatience staff at the post shop
Absolutely appalling service from the branch manager Paula. They make it difficult to do any in branch transactions and when I needed a direct deposit form for my employer the gentleman I spoke to said he would email it to me, and when they did not, I phoned in and had the misfortune of speaking to Paula who advised me many times she was the branch manager and my only option to speak to. She was abrupt, rude, unhelpful, sarcastic, tried saying I was rude, and hung up on me. My colleague was sitting right next to me and overheard the entire conversation and was blown away - she said she would NEVER bank CIBC and I feel exactly the same way. I don't care who the customer is - big or small - noone should be spoken to that rudely or treated that nonchalantly. When she said to call back I mentioned I was at work therefore would rather hold and her response was "well I'm at work too, it's the same thing", and when I then said "it's fine I'll hold a couple of secs" she then rudely said "well nothing takes a couple of seconds". Um, figure of speech?? Unbelievable. To which I then responded "Ok then I shall close my account" and she sarcastically said "Well that's fantastic news! But you'll still need to come in branch and speak with me". With an attitude like that she should not be representing CIBC let alone be their "Branch Manager". Unacceptable!
The worst customer service in this branch, some kind of bad vibe in this place which makes everyone miserable and not helpful. If it wasn't for getting to bank with them for free for a year as a foreigner, I certainly would go elsewhere. The manager is so rude and she really needs to take a look at how she talkes to customers.
Went in with a couple of questions and got the worst customer service. I wanted to set up a travel card but when asking about it I felt the lady was rude and felt really uncomfortable. Ended up walking out without doing anything and very unhappy with the service I received
Pretty smooth and professional every time I go in there. The manager Paula was very helpful and straightforward with all of my requests. Happy that there is finally a CIBC branch in Whistler.
