Churchill's Prime Rib House

Arrived in North Bay, on my way to Ottawa from Calgary, but wanted to eat at a good steak restaurant. After seeing the reviews from Churchill’s, I stopped in. My spouse and I ordered a couple of appetizers to split before our steak dinners. I LOVED the dim ambiance of the restaurant, as it added another level of class to the already clean and classy atmosphere! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable! BEST Cesar Salad ever! The dressing was so delicious, I could have eaten an entire meal of just the salad! My New York strip was perfectly seasoned and cooked! Even the crème brûlée was spectacular!

The Chef’s culinary team and Beverage support’s Master-Mixers at Churchill’s, were spot on with our individual requests. The entire experience, from our Greeter to our Server, was warm, relaxing and enjoyable; in a word: memorable…. We all sipped and tasted until it was time to say our good-nights… Thank you to the Service Staff, the Chef’s Kitchen, and the attentive Support Staff…

Did a takeout yesterday. Prime rib. Nothing to write home about looses one star. I’d say 6 out of 10 in quality. Something about that meat, too tough for prime rib. Actually noting in that dish was worth writing home about. Expensive as hell, as if it’s CN Tower revolving restaurant. By the way, CN Tower restaurant prime rib rules, 10 out of 10. The restaurant seems to have a very nice atmosphere. I wish it were better. Maybe other dishes are better. I don’t know, probably won’t know.

Only went for a drink. Server was wonderful, drink was good. There was an event happening upstairs and it honestly sounded like the ceiling might collapse at times Only complaint would be that you have to walk through groups of drunk people smoking in the doorway. They don't move to let you in or out. I'll go back and try the food sometime.

Our group enjoyed a superb late-dinner meal here tonight. I had one of the best burgers of my life. The vegan in our party enjoyed a delicious noodle dis.and others ordered chicken and a salad. Everyone remarked on how great their food was. We ate outside under a tent with picturesque lighting. Our server was amazing; she was knowledgeable, responsive, and personable. Prices are slightly higher for our market, but this is an example of getting what you pay for: twice as expensive as fast food with about five times the fllavour which is well worth it. Bread and spread was served while we waited. I highly recommend eating here for a wonderful dining experience.

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Churchills this August. The venue was PERFECT and the service from the staff at Churchills was amazing. Lesley helped us plan our wedding every step along the way and held touch-base meetings with us throughout the whole process to give us updates and make sure our needs were met - at no extra cost either! It was AMAZING. We've been receiving compliments from our guests all week about the food, the service, and the space itself. The staff there were incredibly accommodating and kind. Overall it made for a very laid-back wedding planning experience that I am very grateful for. Thank you Churchills for helping us craft the wedding of our dreams! I would absolutely recommend Churchills to any bride and groom looking for great food, an intimate space, and capable hands to help plan your perfect day!

Went here for the first time and was blown away by the whole experience. Absolutely wonderful! We tried the chef’s table, 5 course meal. Every course was beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients, and tasted amazing. Service was also top tier. I’m excited to come back and try some of the items off the regular menu.

The meal was not what I expected at all. The potatoes had huge lumps in the and the prime rib was grisly. There were no salads or bread dishes that were included in the meal at the price they charge. The wine barely filled the bottom of the wine glass. Extremely cheap for a supposed high end restaurant. Will never return.

My meal was way to expensive, and wasn't filling. I ordered an appetizer and a cocktail and this cost over $40. I was also asked to move tables during my meal even though I was originally seated by the manager.
