saw this place all the time but first time we went in. It was Wednesday 4pm so there was not lots of people so the service was good enough. Food is 3 and service is 4. They surprisingly had vegetarian option not vegan. Good neighbourhood place for cheap eats.
We come here once or twice a week after volleyball, and it is always such a great atmosphere, good cold beer, snacks, the pool area is super cool, but the best part is staff, specially the guy who took the picture below yesterday Tuesday around midnight, I don't know his name, he is white, tall, brown hair, and he always arranges some snacks for us even when the kitchen is closed sometimes. So thank you to you!
Decided to try their brunch. Really nice atmosphere on the roof terrasse and friendly service. Good sized portions with a limited choice for brunch. Very relaxed and a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Tastiest Fries in Verdun!!! Super chill atmosphere, great location, decent choice of beer, food was really great and staff were friendly and attentive. Honest 5/5.
La meilleur serveuse du monde Naseem. LDM This place is AMAZING! And don’t get me started on the best waitress/manager in the house: Naseem <3 BAL Merveilleux!
Fun little neighborhood pub, a welcome addition to the area. The tiki terrace up top is amazing, great view of the church. Delicious pub grub, the burgers are good, loved the Philly cheese sandwich, nice salads. Friendly, efficient service. Prices are fair, especially the lunchtime specials. Interesting cocktail list, my only knock is that I'd love to see more craft beer. The list is all Molsons and their simili craft knockoffs like Blue Moon and Trou du diable. They do have St-Ambroise IPA, which is what I fall off on. There are tons of great local craft brews, it would be awesome to have some here!
Food is amazing, very fresh, tasty and portions are huge! Great service and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Terrace is lovely. Great place to enjoy a couple pints and a satisfying bite to eat with friends. Vegetarian options available too.
Friendly service. Nice decor with lots of lanterns. Cute theme. Unfortunately, the drinks weren't great and she had to look up how to make them even though they were on the menu diable rose and dirty martini. The expensive poutine wasn't great either.
We had an absolutely fantastic time tonight with our waiters Tom and Cam. Not only was the food incredibly tasty and economically-friendly...but our accompanied drinks were delicious too! We highly recommend the fried Oreos. This place is really great for dates, work parties, and 18+ family gatherings. Thank you so much Pub Church St. for a wonderful night out on the terasse and thank you Tom and Cam for being great hosts! We will definitely be coming back!
Great drinks, 2 distinct areas one more classic bar[ish], and the other more low-key and warm. It's got pool if that's what you're interested and the bartenders are awesome. Quaint place that seems to be a staple in the area.
