The Dawson Creek Church of the New Jerusalem is a part of the New Church, a Christian faith founded on the Old and New Testaments and on the divinely-inspired works of Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true Christianity means loving the Lord Jesus Christ as God, and loving our neighbour as ourselves. Our services and classes focus on practical ways to bring those loves into our lives. Come and see!
Church services are held every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. The first Sunday of every month is a family service - there is one talk for adults and children together. All the other services (with the exception of some festival services, which are family services) include Scripture readings and a children's lesson, followed by Sunday School activities for the children and a sermon for the adults.
The pastor's home office is located at 1717 102nd Ave., Unit #5. Office hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.; feel free to drop by during those hours. The pastor will often be at the office from 3-5 p.m. as well on those days, but will sometimes be out visiting or working at the church; feel free to call any time (250-782-0710, or (cell) 250-467-2313).
