The place is very small , there is a charge of $5 to go in . One good thing the bartender give a good service. The music what's okay.
The best live music and full bar in Eastern Maine Excellent bands, friendly crowd, lots of dancing. Good draft beer selection and open mic night on Thursday. Best bartenders EVER... they really will make you feel welcome. Pool table accepts dollar bills
Great live music and good people. Gabe makes a space where people from all walks can feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. It's a hometown bar that can make someone from away feel right at home. Always a top suggestion when someone is looking for an uplifting night
Loved Chummies for open mic night. Walked in didn't know a soul as I just moved here. Tony and Jessie the bartenders make everyone feel at home. Nate who runs open mic is a great musician and a hell of a nice guy. Awesome venue to see and play music. Well done Chummies. See you this Thursday!
Decent selection beers and ciders on tap at so-so prices. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Venue is a little run down but that adds to the charm and chummies can be a great place to watch the game or UFC. Live entertainment is usually a blast! This is where locals go in Ellsworth for a reason!
Always my favorite place in the area for music and drinks. The bar owner is a kind, young man who takes an active role in supporting other small local businesses and fellow members of his community. I highly recommend Chummies!
Chummies is a wonderful place with excellent live music Wednesdays through Saturday. There is a pool table and a juke box, and free popcorn that I have never smelled burnt. Come enjoy the big TV's with the game of your choice or the local musical talent! Always very friendly staff and the locals are great!
This is a nice alibi place if you just wanna have some drinks while listening to some live music. This is the only place in the area open until one. Also the entrance is a little tricky. It's on the parallel road to where Google maps would take you.
Definitely my favorite place in the area to check out live music from around New England. The owner is a gracious host and makes everyone feel welcome.
It is a decent quaint bar that offers live music on the weekends. The bartenders are good and the service is good as well
