This is a very cool store. Lots of old video games and great prices. I'll be back for sure.

The store has a great selection of games for every system. I found some great games there for a reasonable price such as Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3, Sonic Generations, and the Mass Effect Trilogy. I even bought a PS3 500gb and Sega Genesis for a great price too. The workers are very nice and awesome people altogether. I have a great time talk about different games and games that they have played or playing right now. They are friendly, chill, and all around gamers like all of us. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are on the hunt for some reasonable price games and some hidden gems if you get lucky.

I shopped there occasionally but I never sold or had anything to return. Great selection of blu-ray, dvd even vhs, and video games for a wide range of gaming systems. Very good prices too. Was sad to see the place go out of business at the end of September as there are very few places that carry such a large selection and variety of such items.

I’ve been going to Chumleighs for a while now. Always had good experiences. However I wouldn’t recommend this store to any who may second-guess their purchases. There is literally no substantial return policy even though we’ve been told there is a 14-day return/exchange. I had gotten buyers remorse after purchasing, and came back the next day. I was told that I would be unable to return the games I had bought even though I hadn’t even touched them. I was told that I wouldn’t be able to return them unless the manager was in, and he was out of the country, so I waited a week. I called a week later and the manager told me he would buy back the games for more than half of their original value. I went and only got half, without tax included. Really disappointed with this experience. Chumleighs is okay if you just buy a game/dvd and leave and have no problems, however if an issue does arise the customer service is pretty abysmal. Just a warning to anyone else to make sure 100% that your purchase is what you want. EDIT: Owner contacted me a few days later, who was willing to add on more money on top of what he gave back. The total value I'm pleased that he offered to do so. However I still stand by my original review. Perhaps there is miscommunication with the community, but all sales are final, which was something I wasn't made aware of when originally purchasing the product. Please be aware of this.

Cool place for DVDs and vhs movies. Also has video games from every era of gaming available for purchase. I have seen some pretty rare NES and SNES games there from time to time. Staff is super friendly and won't hesitate to open up a cart and show you the board. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area and interested in gaming or movies.

Staff almost always knows what they're talking about, reasonable prices for used games, and a wide selection of titles to choose from. The more I visit, the more I'm impressed with their service. It's fun to stop in just to see what's new, and see if they've picked up anything rare.

Have bought a handful of older used games here. Always been pleased by price and selection. If you want to grab some old favourites, or get a bargain on current gen games, this is the place. Often better prices than Kijiji or Ebay.

Attentive service from a very charming and lovely young woman that works there. Best selection of second hand video games and DVDs. I've heard from a staff member that they're closing at the end of the month. September 2018. Farewell, we are going to miss you.

Great DVD & Blu-ray collection, you can just call and they will browse thru their catalogue, I found is DS and 3DS selection constantly moving. PS4/3 and Xbox available too. Good Service.

Of the handful of stores that sell Vintage games in Ottawa these guys and gals are absolutely the easiest to deal with. They give fair trade value on used games and have a decent inventory of retro and modern titles.
