The restaurant is very clean and well-maintained, which immediately creates a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our visit. They were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, enhancing the overall dining experience. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous! Every dish we ordered was flavorful and satisfying. We particularly enjoyed the deep-fried pork with sweet and sour sauce, which stood out as a highlight of the meal. Overall, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal with excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience.nnVisited again today and was very disappointed. We received no service at all. The waitress walked by us multiple times but ignored our raised hands. They didn't clear our table or ask if we needed anything. When they finally came over, they looked very unhappy.
This is one my favourite Korean restaurants in the lower mainland- truly amazing. The food is SO good. The portions are fair, service is on point. The always have a great attitude and care about their customers. It is a great date night place, the restaurant is renovated and has such a nice modern vibe to it. It’s by the highway, and since it’s in a plaza there’s always parking. Overall 10/10! My only tip would be call in advance to reserve or come a little before you’re too hungry because there’s always a wait usually. Totally recommended.
Didn't get to take a photo of each dish before it got devoured but it's my first time eating at Chuihong with my family and it was a great experience.nnThe food was awesome and the servers were great and accommodating.nnThe prices for each dish was on the pricier side but then it's understandable with the amount of serving per dish. We had plenty to take out after.nnDefinitely recommended and would come back again next time!
I explored Surrey last week, and my friend, who hosted me, took me to a Korean-Chinese fusion restaurant for dinner. Despite my initial reservations, I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic and delicious taste of the dishes we ordered.nnArriving just 30 minutes before closing, the restaurant staff warmly accommodated us, extending their hospitality by letting us stay beyond their regular hours. Even amidst closing duties, the servers graciously took turns capturing wonderful photos of us.nnThe visit to this restaurant was a truly delightful and memorable experience!
If I could nominate a Surrey restaurant for a Bib Gourmand, Chuihong would be high on the list. Their black bean noodles are a must and their combos are a great value. Come hungry.nTIP: call ahead to get your name on your list during peak hours.
