All of the Staff are Amazing! So polite They always make you feel at home. The Service is Spectacular! 5 Star With so many Smiles when you go to be greeted with. Thank you : Megan, Kate, Bri, Mercedes, Steve. And everyone else!
This is a large establishment, lots of room and good service, however the food is nothing to write about unfortunately. Firstly it took forever to come out. For a place not that busy I don't know why it would take so long. I had the Buffalo chicken burger it's not what I would consider buffalo the patty was dry even with the sauce on it. The ranch that was served with it was delicious tho. Good for fry dipping. The barbeque sauce wasn't my thing. The bacon cheddar burger was described as tasteless. But the prices are good. Mind you I would pay more if it was better food!
I found Chuck's to be a good option for inexpensive standard pub fare however vegetarian menu options were limited. I had the Ceasar salad and it was a good size for about $7. The bruschetta flatbread appetizer, I think about $11, was phenomenal though and I'd highly recommend it.
Avoid going to this place if you go with family. We came with family and a dog and specifically called in advanced to make sure they are allowed, and we're told they are, in the patio. But when we asked for a table they tell us waiting time is 30 mins although the place is empty. Low staff in the kitchen is the explanation makes total sense, but when we accepted it and asked to be seated, they said now the waiting time is one hour and recommended to get somewhere else. Kid-friendliness: Don't go to this place with family.
It's a chain restaurant. Good value for the money. Service is great and the food was decent. I made the mistake of ordering lamb chops at a steak place and they were overdone. On the upside we fed three people for $65. The lighting is dim so I had to use my phone to read my menu but the decor I could see looked good and the place seemed clean.
Great tasting food selections and staff are friendly and courteous. Steve the GM does an excellent job. Its our go to spot. Today's lunch was over the top. This Chucks have excellent staff that are friendly and courteous. The restaurant is clean and tidy inside and out. In season there is an excellent outdoor patio.
Drop in for a quick dinner. Waited 30 minutes for a burger, garlic cheese bread with cheese and soup. Order came NO soup sold out, server not informed by kitchen until order was ready. Not impressed with the lack of communication between kitchen and servers. Not the the server’s fault, then having to deal with an upset customer. Server did all the correct things to make our dining experience pleasant. No complaints with the service from Brie, excellent server. This was our first time here, food was good, but very disappointed with kitchen communication, will have to think about coming back
Roadhouse!!! Great casual dining and great food and drinks at *reasonable* prices. Lots of app and drink specials daily and good value in a family friendly Roadhouse! inspired atmosphere. Heads up to prospective guests there are very limited/ no options for folks requiring gluten free or vegetarian/vegan. Prompt and friendly service and staff that were very accommodating. Vegetarian options: Limited to no options/substitutions for vegetarians/vegans. Very meat focused menu. Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant/ kids meals available. Parking: Free outdoor parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible entry and washrooms on main floor. Dietary restrictions: Very limited options available that are gluten free
Dined in with the family there were 8 of us and 1/2 our table received our meals and were almost finished before the waitress realized the rest of us had no food. We were not given cutlery and one of our party members had to go in search of cutlery. Waitress asked if she could refill a couple of drinks at table and was like she forgot before coming back and said she needed their glasses to refill because they were short glasses they were steady but not a full house. One of my items was forgotten and we were charged and I pointed it out and the waitress told me I could have mentioned it and she would have brought it as she had been by several times that’s why we had to go get our own cutlery?!. Another member made a request for his food and it didn’t happen either. It was not a stellar experience and not great tasting considering they are adding a 3% honest to goodness price increase just change the charge on the menu items for heaven sakes. . Overall not a stellar experience.
Napanee is a good place to take a break when driving long distances on highway 401. There is the Flying V rest area, which can accomondate RVs and large trucks. There are cheap gas stations at the Flying V and W O Stinson and sons. Then close by there are a bunch of restaurants on both sides of the bridge, such as, Chuck's Roadhouse. Chuck's Roadhouse is a big restaurant both internally and an ample sized patio. Inside there is a big multiscreen TV, lots of large size booths and bar stool style tables. The Roadhouse can easily accomondate multiple parties of 10 or more. However, I noticed that food service for large groups can negatively impact the rest of the restaurant by increasing waiting time to get food after it was ordered. Getting drinks was no problem and that service was fast. I enjoyed eating Chuck's pepper steak with mashed potatoes. Prices were reasonable. Parking was easy and it was easy to get to the Roadhouse from the 401. I just wished the food service was faster. If you like my reviews, photos or videos just chuck up the road with a thumbs up
