Chuck's Roadhouse

Update March 2023 Stopped in for dinner, ordered a couple steaks and a kids burger and fries. Steaks were perfect and we are told the kids burger was too. Server was awesome, food came out quickly. Great job team! ---------‐----- Stopped in here for some half price apps after a concert last night. I love Chucks for the good food and drinks and great value. The service was great, apps were good, but cold, I think they held the 2 while they waited for the steak bites to finish, rather than just bringing them out as they were ready. Steak bites were good.. wings, fingers and onion rings were also good.. and the dip was good. Nothing fantastic, and would have been better if it were all hot, but again for the price you can't complain. Will definitely be back.

Tonight, thanks to the new cook, Josh, our meal was beyond our usual experience and expectations when we've dined here before. We've dined at multiple locations before, including this one. Our meal not only tasted better than usual, there was much more flavor, my boyfriend's steak was cooked to perfection & my burger was actually juicy! Usually, his steaks are over seasoned, and over cooked, and my burgers are fairly dry. Tonight, was a wonderful experience even though they were short staffed and there was a much longer wait time, the waitress was kind and friendly & did her job well. Thanks to Josh & the amazing food tonight, this will be our go to location here in London, from now on! Please, for the Manager of this location,... Josh deserves Kudos for our above par experience and the great food he cooked tonight! Thanks Josh!!!

It's just not great folks. Even cheaper food didn't make up for the slow and inattentive service. I understand busy, but providing cutlery is a basic service. Food came eventually but nothing to eat it with. I had to ask for cutlery. Service staff were nice enough just not prompt enough. The food itself is priced very competitively, which is this restaurants claim to fame. I've tried a number of items from the menu and all are just "ok". I've ended up nit feeling well after more than one visit to Chuck's. I don't recommend this restaurant unfortunately because I think they can do so much better.

We recently had lunch at Chuck's. The Montreal smoked meat sandwich was perfect. The Porterhouse steak was tender, flavourful, and cooked properly. The French fries were good and hot. The beer was cold and properly carbonated. The service was timely and friendly. And, the value is extraordinary at Chuck's.

Our first and last time at Chucks. Our server was lovely, polite,pleasant and efficient. We had chicken tacos and 2 piece fish & chips. The fish portions were large, about a size 11 insole and just as tough. I wish i’d taken a photo The fish was the colour of a caramel and if my husband dropped it, it would have broke. One bite was enough, the taste of old oil The cook came out and explained that even if they made another one it would be the same as the oil needed to be changed…. Could they bring us something else?, or just take it off the bill? Our lovely waitress was quick to let us know she didn’t normally work at this location. My hubby went home and had leftovers. CHANGE THE FRYER OIL ‍

Sam was and is always awesome. Friendly, funny, serves us the minute we arrive. Remembers what we like to drink. Checks up on us frequently. Never lets us go thirsty . Kind to all customers. Makes sure we’re all watching what we want on TV. Just a great experience for us every time. Thanks for making our evening a great experience Sam. You rock.

Hannah was Great! Big smile & very patient & helpful. The atmosphere is not too busy, Not loud, we could actually have a conversation, food was hot & tasty. Food was very salty, ordered steak and lobster, but the waiter forgot lobster and brought corn, then we finished our food he brought lobster after we told him you forgot.about lobster, service was not up to the mark for what we paid for all the servers looked angry and depressed! May be more pay! Atmosphere was good!Food: 2/5

Pretty slow service during the day on a Wednesday, especially given it wasn’t busy. The honest to goodness fee still applies even though Chucks has raised their pricing and isn’t that far off from other competitors anymore. Prices are similar to Crabby Joe’s, for example, but Chucks still has the additional fee.

Food was great but service was not great at all. Waitress didn’t seem interested of me and my girlfriend coming to have dinner. Super short and never came to check in on us to see how we were doing at all through are whole dinner. Once our food came, she threw it on the table and walked away in a hurry which was extremely unprofessional. After our meal, she never bothered to come back to give us the bill so I had to get another waitress to come so I could pay her. She said the waitress we had was dealing with serving plus helping in the back which is not an excuse to be that cold. We all work in the world which me and my girlfriend work early which I start work at 5’oclock in the morning but yet I’m not rude and disrespectful because I’m busy at my job. If you can’t handle the job and do one thing and atleast pretend to show some compassion to your customers, do yourself a favour and just quit. Super disappointed with the experience and will not go back. Didn’t feel bad at all for not tipping a cent because of this
