Chucks Roadhouse located in the heart of Gravenhurst Ontario, was for myself and my partner ......Fantastic!! I ordered the rib eye, medium rare, more towards rare, mashed potatoes, and corn. The steak was done exactly as I ordered, and the rest of the meal also tasted great. My lovely wife ordered chicken quesadilla, which she was happy with. Overall, our food and service were worth the money. for less than $100.00 we both ate, had a few drinks and that also included our tip. Very well priced!nnWe arrived around 6PM, on a Sunday evening, seating wasn't an issue, and although it was busy, Sunday night football our Server Jessica was on point, never left waiting for anything and immensely helpful. Our server also made sure I liked the steak right away, in case it had to be redone, it didn't lol Jessica provided us with an excellent level of service.nnThe location is on the main street in Gravenhurst Ontario, parking was a bit tricky, as a major snowstorm had covered the entire town a week before, so street parking was out of the question given the snowbanks. We were able to get a spot as someone was leaving just as we arrived.nnThe restaurant itself was very clean, with lots of TV's if your there to watch sports. The atmosphre wasn't to loud, I could have a converstation with out yelling. Bathrooms were clean, lighting was just right, over all felt comfortable.nnI would recommend this location based on our experience, that said, not everyone will have the same experience, although I hope you do have one similar to ours.nnUntil the next review, take care and be well.....
Good food. Fair prices. Service is exceptionally slow. Can't fit in to an hour lunch and work across the street. 1 server working the floor. They need more staff
I have to be in Muskoka for five or six days for a project, I came here for dinner the first night. I ordered a burger and a canadian beer. It's just that, in my opinion, adding some ham on their burger is an extra thing, because their burger meat was tasty enough.
We returned to this restaurant/ sports bar today. We both enjoyed the nachos, Caesar salad, and their fish and chips. We arrived early at 4:15 p.m. for dinner, and there was plenty of room. We were seated immediately and served quickly. Thank you, Sherry, for your service!
Our poor server on her 2nd shift wasn’t being helped by her trainer, which lead to this…nI ordered the sirloin and lobster tail $25 for dinner. It took a bit for not being too busy but when my dinner arrived, it was missing lobster, the steak was a brick and the was barely any corn.. we let the poor new server know. Nobody came to look at my steak, the lobster came after I eventually at the piece of leather and all 27 corn kernels and instead of billing me correctly, they added a lobster tail to my bill for an additional $15 and when asked to have it removed, they took off 5 dollars. This was the worst experience I’ve had after visiting many Chucks..nThe poor new server isn’t at fault here, her lack of trainer is… she shouldn’t been helping when it wasn’t going well…
