I feel like they really stepped it up since the last time I ate at this chain. The food was delicious and there was something for all of us. The fried bread, bread pudding, and a sweet pork taco bowl were the highlights for me. Also, Nina was our waitress and she was phenomenal. Oh, and apparently they sing to you if it's your birthday!
Enjoy the Buffet! They have a good selection of food. Scones, sticky wings, ham, roast, rolls, manicotti shells, mashed potatoes, salad, ice cream, dessert bar, drinks and much more. You can dine in. Or take out!
My family spent the day in Ogden and the kids really wanted to go to Chuck a Rama. We love this place. It is always clean and the food is fresh. We went on a Thursday, Mexican Night. I love their take on the Cafe Rio Salad. My kids really liked the orange soft serve. Our favorites are the fried chicken and scones. They also have the best french fries. Of all the things to eat I always eat my fair share of fries. We're never disappointed at this location. Our server, Tess, was also great.
Restaurant is well kept and clean but food is just ok. If you're looking for a buffet it a descent buffet with good variety.
Gets a bit loud. Food is good but they need to offer a bigger variety of different food especially on the north hot table slice meat. Always pot roast & pizza. The lasagna is horrible using cheddar cheese?? Wrong. Frog eye salad has couscous half cooked. Better desserts to pick from. Cakes always dry! More fish, baked or fried, pork ribs that are tender & juicy, not dry. Children are not being supervise by there parents and I watch them grab food with their hands or they're running all over. No respect from the parents.
You know I was skeptical to come eat there. Buffets don’t have the best rep when it comes to cleanliness but this one is the exception. It was nice and clean inside and out. The food was great. Staff was very nice and friendly. Bathroom was kept up. Happy to have come.
Normally, I really enjoy their food, but today, the lasagna had no tast3e, the fried chicken was very dry, and the dressing had a lot of hard bread in it. The salad bar was great, as was the desserts. I will try then again later and hope the food improves to what it was before. Oh, there was a group of 8 of us and we all agreed the food was not as good as before.
Nice place to take the elderly. They have different days for different foods. The food is amazing and they keep it stocked. The atmosphere is loud around lunch but breakfast and dinner is calmer. Cost per person 5$-14$ for kids ages 4-12 and 14$ for elderly 60+ and 15$ for adults
My husband and I brought our daughter here for dinner and it did not disappoint! The service was great and the waitress told our daughter they had Icee’s which made her night. I especially loved the fried shrimp and the German chocolate cake!
Oriental night - oh how I love the Orange Chicken!!! And the soups tonight were Tomato Basil and Cream of Spinach - we tried both. Love the variety and the taste is great. My #1 favorite thing about Chuck-a-rama? Apple Beer!!! And no dishes after. Thanks for a great night out. The waiter was so pleasant and took such good care of us. Vegetarian options: You can be happy and full when you leave with all the vegetarian choices. Kid-friendliness: With the variety, every kid is happy. The atmosphere lets kids be kids. Parking: Always get a spot close Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entry and good spacing for tables Dietary restrictions: We come as a family of vegans, paleos, ketos, diabetic and we all find what we need and want.
