The best hot pot in Worcester! Locals know this as the place for the most delicious all you can eat hotpot lunch specials! Although this restaurant can get very busy at peak times, the staff are fast and professional, making every dining experience at Chuan an amazing one. They also have a full menu of other non-hotpot food for those in your party that do not want to join in on the hot pot fun.
I had a good experience! Clean and good service. The hotpot was so much fun and a fantastic experience. The sauce bar was also so much fun. Parking is tricky but still totally worth it. If you want a fun night definitely check it out.
Been coming here pretty regularly for years and every year for Thanksgiving. They have great vegetarian options. General tso's tofu is . One of my favorite dishes in the city.Food: 5/5
One of the best hotpot places I’ve been in New England so far. Fresh vegetables and vast variety of meats and seafoods along with ample options for sauces. I took many of my friends here, and each one of them loved it. I visit at least once a month for the past couple of years, and the quality of the food itself never has changed much. I’ve never tried their dishes on the menu, so I’m uncertain how good they are. If you are looking for a spot to have a good authentic hotpot, I would not look twice. Evenings are usually busy and the weekend can be quite hectic - expect some wait time. My only complaint is that they sometimes seem to charge for certain things as they please. For instance, they charge $7 for super mala broth, which supposed to be spicier than regular mala, but the amount of mala pepper and sauce varies every time. If we ask for spicier broth, some just bring extra pepper for free while some charge $3-$5 to make the broth spicier, which I think it’s quite absurd. Your experience here will vary drastically based on who you have as a server - some are very friendly and attentive while some just stand around or busy chatting among themselves.
I am disappointed because I love this place. It has been my go to take out food for 4 years. But I had to call 25 total times to order because the line kept cutting out and then I found a staple in the basil fried rice. Lauren the manager was very nice about it though and handled it well. Hoping this is a one time issue!
Great hot pot! Honestly the only one I know of locally. Every other hot pot is in Boston! So worth the money! Great prices and it’s all you can eat!!Recommended dishes
Wonderful first experience of hotpot ! What we didn’t realise was that the broths were priced differently to the total price - but all in all a great, tasty experience even for vegetarians
I love hotpot and this place is excellent. The options are plentiful and very fresh. Decor was very nice and staff outstanding. They all helped each other bringing out food and clearing tables. Our waiter made us a delicious sauce from the sauce bar. If 6 stars were an option, I would give an extra star for the fried ice cream dessert. WOW. Best Ive ever had and was the perfect ending to our delicious meal. This picky eater highly recommends. Vegetarian options: A Vegetarians dream restaurant! Kid-friendliness: I was not there with children, but there were a few there while I was dining. A la cart food options were available for kids who might not like hotpot. Although decor was very nice, ambiance had a chill vibe. Dietary restrictions: All veggies and meat are fresh and raw. You choose your food and can add whatever topping/sauce you want
I was so absorbed in eating I didnt take pics of food. The hot pot was great and the staff friendly. The broth was delish! The portion sizes are nice. Only complaint is it took a hit to get the check but by then it was filling up with people. Will 100% go again.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
