For this shelter and partner agency "Ajax Hygiene Hub" to be the best that Durham Region has to offer in the struggle to end homelessness shows how far we as Canadians have fallen out of compassion for the homeless. The only thing they gave me was a place to sleep and stronger suicidal feelings. I need to also tell you all about how u got ravaged by bedbugs while staying there. It has gotten bad enough that now they are doing near-weekly fumigations because some of the church-goers have taken said bedbugs home

This place should be shut down they treat homeless people like animals especially when it’s freezing cold. PASTOR SHERLY , MARLA , HEATHER and all other parties are fakes who pretend to care for the well-being of homeless people when in reality they are money hungry looking to soak up every last penny they can get from the city.FRAUDS AND YOUR DOING IT IN THE NAME OF JESUS HELL IS HOT

Treat grown adults like animals at thier shelter. Treated no better than criminals. For example they kicked out a guy with an uncontrollable seizure disorder just because his foot went past the curb. Check out the shelter rules, it's absolutely ridiculous they treat human beings the way they do.

i would like to have a talk with the legit owner of the shelter. i never had any issues but there's one worker who i think is the daughter of the actual owner and she non stop gives me a horrible time i cant even knock without her snapping on me and she does it every time , last year I was dealing with the passing of my father and she did not care... I'm actually nervous about this review because i do need to swing back for a second and she will go as low as banning me for giving a truthful review

They treat you as if your a prisoner, they made me take of my shoes and socks to search me, I feel that my rights have been violated, and on top of that people in there are thieves, Cristian faith is an absolute joke

Dont care about others at all, so how is that christian! Enablers of habits. Clients left outside to freeze! Very sad. ruining our communitya

They been a great home for the Doors of Compassion Program. Ajax should be greatful that this program is operating in their town despite the fact that the people that access Doors of Compassion like to forget that they are in a Church environment. Please don't think negatively of the Doors of Compassion program..Please support it so they can take better care of Durhams Homeless.

Reconnected with my church family today to celebrate Easter! and meet Pastor Jesse with whom I had exchanged emails and I had talked to on the phone but had not yet met in person. Warm and welcoming experience as usual with both familiar and new faces for me, praising and worshipping God ! Excellent music worship, inspiring guest Pastor today and Holy communion and as always invitation and opportunity to accept God as your Lord and saviour if so desired. No pressure, just welcoming and warm place of worship

Grate staff and great church and the help i get is highly thankful and your food bank helps lots
