A wonderful chocolate store in Markham. They have amazing hot chocolate and various chocolate bars. We tried Ruby Chocolate which is a newly discovered flavour and I highly recommend giving it a try.nnThere is some seating indoors.
Tried a couple of things here but it was either a hit or miss.nnThe Good:nnMa Cherie Dessert - really good flavors and textures together. I always love tart fruit with chocolate and the cookie base is amazing. I would reorder as a birthday cake!nnHot Chocolate Drink - rich and good chocolate flavor. They use cocoa powder.nnThe Skippable:nnMont Blanc - Not too special, it needed more sugar to bring out the chestnut flavor more. There was too much unsweetened cream.nnWilliam Noir Dessert - I personally didn’t find anything special about this. I also would have preferred Bosc pear over what they used.nnPain au chocolat - definitely skip this. It was more bready and not enough butter or layers.nnDonut Mocha Drink - the absolute worst latte I’ve ever had. Pretty drink but not only did it come lukewarm, it was like drinking milk with foam. Should have known when I saw a giant cup. Do not get this drink. The foam wasn’t even that sweet and tasted like nothing there needed to be sugar this is coming from an Asian so I spent $7.20 on lukewarm milk with what tasted like half a shot of espresso.nnOverall - I’d still consider trying other desserts and drinks.
Lovely cafe for afternoon tea! The staff was warm and helpful too. Definitely will visit another time!nnWe tried a few dessert and all were delicious. I think they did a good job for their canele! Can't want to try the others and their drink menu.
I really like this small pastry place. I tried different pastries from this store and none of them disappointed me! Next time I want to try their chocolate as I believe is their specialty. You should definitely try their 70% chocolate bar. It’s my favourite one and I always order this whenever I visit this store.
