Got the meteorite wings, meteorite burger, pistol chicken, popcorn chicken and tenders. Everything was so crispy and juicy! Definitely try the flavour add ons. We got to try the cumin flavour on the popcorn chicken and it was so unique and tasty.

Had a great time at Chirpyhut! Staff was lovely and helpful while the food was made fresh and delicious. Their black meteorite burger was a must try along with other variety of items on their menu.

Order a 2 people combo. And the corn is smelly and rotten. You can even see some rotten brown corn on the top. Very disappointed! Cannot guarantee the quality of the food there.:

Ordered off TooGoodToGo. Got 2 chicken burgers. Very impressed. The chicken is so juicy and tender. It's also spicy which gives it a nice kick. Feels like a chicken steak version of the McChicken and I'm lovin' it. They have some bar seating in the store but this is really more of a place to pick up and go. There are around 7 parking spots for the mini strip mall. Turnover is pretty quick though. When we arrived at around 6pm on a weekend, there were 3 spots open when we arrived. There is also street parking along 15th but I'm not sure what the rules or restrictions are.

I have to be honest here people... It is a very good looking - straight forward clean and tidy restaurant with plenty of items that are available... However I am writing to inform you that there's anything but quality standards for the meals your served fatty, low cost meats,poultry and poutine...... Who puts real chicken wing TIPS, YEAH, WOW factor for my stomach is still curling from the first mouthful of food, YUCK!

Interesting new fast food/fried chicken chain with some unique menu items. There are a few bar seats by the window, but it is mainly designed for takeout. The chicken looks black from a special secret mix of squid ink powder, and does NOT taste burnt or fishy at all. I had some leftovers, and it wasn't greasy like most fried chicken places even after it cooled down several hours later when I reheated it to eat. My order: -Black Meteorite Wings $10: the chicken itself is quite juicy, and doesn't taste oily. I think the portion is also decent, as some of the wings are quite large. Crispy & flavourful. -Black Meteorite Burger Spicy $10.75: chicken quality is the same as the Black Meteorite Wings above. It is a pretty large piece of juicy chicken, and they don't cheap out by adding a lot of deep fried powder/coating. Only slight complaint is that the bun is a tad dry, and there isn't a lot of variety with the toppings inside the bun, although most chicken sandwiches aren't filled with much normally anyways comes with fresh lettuce, a slice of processed cheese, sauce. Definitely has a spicy kick! It also comes regular non-meteorite, for the same price I believe, but I'd recommend the meteorite one for the novelty of it. -Chicken Tenders & Chicken Popcorn: the most "normal" items from my order. It's pretty standard, and nothing special. There's an assortment of seasoning eg. pepper salt, garlic cumin you can add-on for free, which is a bonus if you want some extra flavour. -Pistol Chicken Leg: Again, portion is good, you get a nice and heavy deep fried hunk of meat. It's shaped like a pistol, hence the name.

Ordered their drumstick, gristle, and gizzards. Drumstick was definitely the best part. We ordered the spicy which was really spicy in my point of view. The problem is with the gristle and gizzards. Gizzards were too big and the batter was just not sticking on. It came right off as soon as you touch it which makes it taste as if you are eating steamed gizzards. Gristle was the worst. It actually has a bad taste to it... Not sure if the gristle went bad already, or it was undercooked. Either way, I'm expecting a stomachache tonight...

Really good fried chicken. I tried the chicken slam combo. The tenders, popcorn chicken and drumsticks are excellent, really tasty and the right amount of batter, not greasy at all either. Will definitely go again, I hope they bring wedge fries to this location, I guess it could be the soft opening? I'm gonna try the chicken sandwich next time.

Over priced They keep your change and don’t give it to you Don’t honour discounts Food is kinda gross * changing my review to 1 star due to strange, hostile response from business. I visited today, gave $15 in cash for a popcorn chicken poutine and no change was given despite me staying by the desk to get it. I then noticed the menu said there’s a discount for pick up orders and that discount was not applied either.

I ordered the chicken thigh 2 and it was sooooo good. I love the extra gloves and wipes that also came with it and made the experience way better.
