Overall we are very disappointed. - All of the food was drenched in sauce and did not taste fresh at all. It was salty, especially the fried rice it tasted like it was cooked completely in soy sauce. The fried rice had no vegetables and less than an egg in each serving. Most of their food was bland and tasted off. The water was room temperature and tasted like metal. - As for service, it was subpar to say the least. We were supposed to have tea with our meal that they never gave us and they never offered us any other beverages. They could not handle the service they were getting from takeout orders. The waitress left mid taking our order to answer the phone. They ran out of half of the items on the menu so we had to re choose what to order three times! - It was $50 for three mediocre plates, granted, this is a “quantity over quality” type of restaurant. - Go to Panda Express for a better “gourmet” Chinese food experience.
We went to lunch a little after 1 on a Saturday. We waited over 5 minutes for an employee to come out and seat us. The same thing happened to the next guests that came after us. The food came quickly. It was the best combination lomein we've had so far in the area. The egg rolls were huge but mediocre. I week go back to try other dishes.
It was busy, but good food was served. I felt bad for the staff; they were doing their best to keep up. Not a stall was left in the parking lot. They do take out orders. In door seating. Easy access from the main drag.
The "aroma" that hits you when you walk in, makes you want to RUN out! So many of my friends and family love this place. CGG is not skimpy on their portions, and the staff is friendly, but the food is just not good. As I mentioned in my opening statement, the "aroma" and I do mean smell of the restaurant kills any appetite you may have had.
Received delivery order with no general tso sauce on the general tso chicken, just dry chicken nuggets. Called and just got "I'm sorry" after paying double price to have delivery.
The soup is the reason I go here. I went alone and there were 3 other tables with 2-4 people. The woman who is always there as the waitress, was really friendly and making jokes at times with the other 3 tables. Not once with me. She didnt even make eye contact with me. I assume its because I wasnt going to be a big tip or big enough order. I had 3 glasses of water. She seemed so irritated that I drank my water. One of the times she only filled it part way. Same with my hot tea. When she brought it out she filled my tea cup less then half and walked away. She never asked if I needed anything. Had her young son bring out my check. The other food is less the mediocre to say the least. The service is even worse, at least if you are dining alone. This is not the first time service has been terrible. One of the other customers asked about the wonton soup and she told her so 3 egg flower soup? And she said I guess I just have never tried wonton soup. She said it's okay you want egg flower soup. I assume because it's easier. The best thing about this place is the wonton soup and egg flower soup. The wontons fall apart but it's a great broth with lots of veggies usually.
OMG!!! After reading some reviews we were dubious, but we decided to give it a try anyways. SOOOOO GLAD WE DID!! Food was AMAZING! HUGE portions! We ended up taking home more than we ate, and we all stuffed ourselves while dining in the restaurant. Staff were super friendly. And the bill was EXTREMELY reasonable. Absolutely would recommend to anyone who wants a pleasant dining experience with good food. Side note... plenty of take out customers came and went, but inside restaurant was uncrowded and nice. 5 stars ALL DAY!!!
We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. Friendly. Clean. Generous portions. Fresh and price was just right. Not sure why it took us so long to visit. To add, their phone was ringing off the hook for take out orders!!
Delicious! I haven't found a good place, but this one is delicious. Only take out for now, but so worth it! I recommend the #7
This is our families favorite spot when it comes to Chinese food. Their fried rice is the best. The chicken broccoli is amazing, better than any I've had. And I can't forget the honey walnut shrimp Wow!!! Is all I can say . We order at least Once a WK . We don't mess around when it comes to food. If you want to satisfy your hunger this is a must. Trust me ! 5
