Used to go to this place but after the "Bug" things seemed to have changes prices way up and the taste of their food has changed not bad per se but different there's better choices around the area. Not to say don't eat here just better options.Food: 3/5
Lo mein had huge pieces of meat and veggies, over soy sauced, everything was bad. The China Star in Wheaton is better, this place doesn’t even taste the same.
I don't often leave a review for a business unless our experience is really bad or really good. Well, China Star is very good ! We've made 4 family sized purchases these last few months and have been pleasantly surprised. Here's what we've noticed. The dinner shrimp are much larger and more numerous than the competition, the beef is tender and not chewy, and the chicken has a nice texture and is not rubbery like other places... The portions are generous and they even include cardboard squares in your to-go bags to keep your bagged dinners stable. A nice detail for sure. China Star is MUCH better than that other place in Villa Park also on Roosevelt.

I ate here and the food was all but inedible. I ate two shrimp and it made me sick so I threw the rest away and felt bad for hours. The shrimp had so much batter and it was so hard, the flimsy plastic fork could not penetrate them. Stay away!
This food was terrible. I can see by past comments that they take pride in making nasty food, since they are not taking any steps to change. I wish I would have looked at the reviews first. The Crab Rangoon, was literally the worst i have ever had. There was no crab in sight, and it consisted of greasy fried bread filled with cream cheese and huge pieces of onions. Yeah, I won't be going back!
I eat at all Chinese restaurants and was not happy at all with this one. Went in for lunch and was offered the regular priced items, when they had a lunch price special for the exact thing I wanted. First thing the cashier should always offer is the lunch special prices during lunch. Definitely felt ripped off. Plus the food wasn't good. I'll bring it home to make it better. I don't recommend it. If u don't care much for service and taste then it'd be okay for u.
Great shrimp and broccoli. The lunch specials are a great value. Huge portions.
Good take out Chinese place. Big portions, especially for the lunch combo. The general tso's chicken is all white meat, crispy and not too heavy on the breading. If you want it spicy, I'd recommend asking for extra spicy. My default place in the Oak Brook area for quick Chinese food.
This was the first time I ordered there for delivery. I don't know what your job is there, or what happened, to cause my Brother and I to get sick after eating from your Food, but I know, this is an health issue. I had too much Diarrhea, and my Brother Vomited his food up! The health department should come in there! I don't know what else to say, other than recommend anyone,
