This was the first time I ordered from here. We walked in, ordered, and returned to pickup after about 20 minutes. I was worried because we ordered 6 things and it was all in one bag except for the fortune cookies, which they gave us separately ... But they packed the food in! There was plenty for my family of 6. The orange chicken was fantastic and flavorful! The veggie lo mein had fresh, crisp vegetables in it. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy. They were busy Friday night at 6pm but the food was ready on time and hot, and we have leftovers for tomorrow!
I get food here all the time. Always tastes great! Made fresh when you order it, it's not just sitting in a warning pan like at other joints. Some think the building itself and the interior aren't great. Let's be honest, you're looking for delicious comfort food, not a cozy place to sit. Eat here, and enjoy!Food: 5/5
Went to Chia Star. Saw the lady deliverer food to table, customers opened food. Saw customers weird looks like wrong food. Saw other lady run back to the table, grab food, and cover it at the customer's table. Lady brings back to counter and puts it in bag for me. It's weird that the customer in back of me saw the same thing. Won't go back, used food! Lady at counter lied and said food was never opened. Nasty!
Special Friend rice was ok however chow mein was good
personal opinion is best Chinese food in mankato with service. the other places a jokes. this place has what you want tastes better, fresh, 15 minutes and your going home to eat.Food: 5/5
Food had no seasoning, shrimp tasted like they were just boiled in water, cabbage in chow mein was slimy, and it was mostly just rice and cabbage with like 4 shrimp. I don’t really feel satisfied for the amount of money I spent.
Ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was overcooked pretty bad the chicken was dry and pretty hard inside also the the crab rangoon lately has been pretty overdone as well never used to be that way.
Every time I go to China star I get exactly what I ordered. The service is great and they are all so nice. It gets really busy , but they all are working so hard to get your food to you quickly. The price is great for all the food you get. It’s so delicious. I only go to China star. Five stars
The lady put the order in wrong. Ordered chicken Lo Mein but received chicken chow mein. It was pretty good but still wrong. They were busy when I went in there. We always go here when visiting our daughter.Food: 3/5
My friends and I went here wanting Chinese food. They both ordered general Taos chicken asking for extra extra spice. I tried the chicken and cannot handle spice and there was no spice whatsoever. I ordered cream cheese wontons, chicken sticks, and veggie lo mein. The food was so under seasoned that it was terrible. The food was cooked perfectly so if it was seasoned with even a little salt it would have been good.
