Food was excellent with large portions. Service was great with very short wait for ordering and delivery of food. Environment was clean, well lit and comfortable.Food: 5/5
The food was horrible. I couldn't eat even half of my meal. Fried rice and egg roll tasted bad, I ate a teriyaki chicken which was good and had a couple of beers to fill me up.Food: 2/5
The menu is beautiful, such a wide variety to choose from. I had chosen the Wor Shu Duck and my friend had gotten the PuPu platter and even the portions are enormous! The food was absolutely delicious!!! The hostess was very polite and the waitress was very prompt. I can't wait to come back here again!
Good food and large portions. Nice atmosphere. Super nice owners. They really came through for our town during the Christmas storm. They did everything they could to stay open and warm for those who were without power for 6 days!
China Hill is one of our go to places, the food is delicious and we NEVER leave feeling anything but stuffed with plenty left over for another meal for the family. The servers are friendly and quick with recommendations if asked what they like, and they are also truthful which is a HUGE plus in my book. I asked about their Sushi and Sashimi being fresh and was told yes it was made as soon as it is ordered, but that the fish is frozen. Most places will not be forth coming like that. So as I said this is a place I highly recommend and suggest trying if you are hungry and wanting great place with friendly ppl Kid-friendliness: I have an autistic child who has been going to China Hill since she was VERY young and not once have they complained if she became or over stimulated and had to use one of her stimming techniques to try and work through the meltdown about to happen. In fact one time the manager asked if we would like to go and sit in the back office area to help her process everything as the restaurant was rather busy that day, stating if we didn't it was fine they were just offering as he figured the office being a bit quieter might help. So they have my vote as child friendly
I come here because Billy works here. He's a fantastic bartender, always friendly and makes a delicious Head Hunter. The food was good. I love the egg rolls!Food: 5/5
We stopped in here one night after a long day in Acadia National Park. We were initially looking for a Mexican place that was supposedly down the street, but couldn’t find it, and ended up here. We were a little apprehensive at first, because it didn’t look extremely busy this particular night. We were so hungry, that we took a chance and decided to go in. It really wasn’t bad at all. They had a buffet, but since it was late, the food looked like we’d prefer to order from the menu, which is what we did. The service was ok, and the food came out hot, and tasted pretty good. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was better than expected. We were so full after, so mission accomplished I guess.
Not the best service, or food, rice small portioned chicken stick was tasty but not what I was expecting. Guy was rude and hurried off the phone when I asked for suggestion on order, said he was busy look up the menu... ummm ok eat this review good sir.... but worth the stop nevertheless And owner was realy nice....
Recently had lunch here with my daughter while Christmas shopping and received the usual exceptional care and delicious food that we are accustomed to here.....had to had food to take home for leftovers, of course! Haha
I use to visit China Hill at least once a week. Then i moved so it was twice a month.I noticed the price going up but it didnt seem the same. Then i noticed we got a tiny bowl of rice with our platter. That went on for couple visits then a meal with a few raw chicken wings but i didnt say anything then last week it happened again.I didnt notice it till id eaten a couple so i ask to speak to the owner. She came in and said she couldnt refund me for the raw chicken because id already eaten some. The damn platter is $32 i think $8 off for the chicken would have been a good gesture.I will never walk thru China Hill doors again.
