This place is such a hidden gem. They have the biggest menu I have ever seen at a Chinese restaurant. Let me first say, I write tons of reviews and am a true foodie! I eat at a restaurant at least once a week and I am not talking about fast food. Looks are deceiving, I will say this place could use a renovation and some upgrades. But that aside, the food here is second to none. Everything is cooked to perfection. And with a menu this large, that is not an easy task. Please give this place a try. The servers could use some training on how to properly talk to a customer, as the one gentleman who has been a server there as long as I can remember talks with street lingo which has no place at a restaurant in my opinion. But in his defense, I will say he is a really great server and does pay attention to all your needs. So at the end of the day he still gets a great review from me. I have tried about 30 different dishes here and have never been dissatisfied or disappointed. I even brought a friend here who is a Chinese restaurant owner himself and he was impressed with the menu and great food. Last time here, I got fried Pot Stickers with beef, Crispy Duck, and Shrimp Fried Rice. Here are some pictures. So please, give this place a try.
Fantastic food & service! Don't sit by a window or the door though in winter months, quite chilly. I loved that they serve in beautiful dinner ware. This place has been voted best Asian restaurant in mid- Michigan so many times the wall is over flowing with awards! Easy parking and access to building. Peking duck served here also with 24° notice! Will definitely return to this place.
I gave it 2 stars only because we actually ate something. I was excited to see such a large variety of items on the menu, which then turned into a daunting task of narrowing it down to items we had never tried, but were in a comfort zone. Huge menu seems to equal poor quality on anything but standard items. Seriously, how much can you stock and how much is actually fresh?
The food is amazing. But 97% of the staff are so unprofessional. I’ve heard yelling, screaming, swearing, all while trying to enjoy my dinner. A few weeks back, I heard a scuffle going on behind the curtain type thing to divide the staff and the public. This server was swearing and cursing and I finally stood up & said first off, your vulgar language is unnecessary. You work for the public, and shouldn’t be acting like a maniac. He walked out. I walk back in today, and he’s back working. Lol. She’ll employ anybody and that’s because she’s extremely understaffed due to issues with her employees. Bobby, and Corey are awesome. They’ve always treated my kids and I super well. But the environment itself is extremely unprofessional and unrealistic. There is a rather large language barrier with the owner as well.
Had a wonderful day with my husband and ended it with a wonderful dinner at China garden. The food is a definite 10 plus!! The best Chinese food in the area. Sarah who took care of us was extremely genuine and an ease to talk to. She made us feel welcomed and was one of the best servers we ever have had!! Mary the owner is extremely sweet as well and we look forward to coming back again and again!!
we did not dine in but the decor was super cute. the people there are nice, prompt & courteous. the food looks amazing, can’t wait to eat !
Amazing! We really enjoyed our visit, the quality, the flavors, fresh, reasonable prices- our server Tom was truly a kind person- made our meal more enjoyable. We'll be driving from Ohio to bring our family back for a visit.
Ordered egg foo young, over 8.00 dollars, received one patty, no gravy.....but I did get some kinda of chicken dish that I didn't order. And surprised everything is in pint boxes, not quarts. Not sure if I'll return again, too expensive for small pints of food. Plus my order was incorrect.
Fresh cooked food rather than buffet style. People very friendly and treat you like family. Will be back.Food: 5/5
Ordered chicken fried rice and princess chicken, which came with fried rice even though we didn’t order that. The princess chicken was supposed to be spicy. It barely had any flavor at all. The chicken fried rice was loaded with dark meat a the rice was mushy. I have eaten here for over 30 years. This and the time before was aweful. Won’t be back again
