I swung by this place because I didn't know if there would be anywhere to eat once I got to my motel. It's not the worst I have had but it's down there. Being from a bigger city I have access to much more variety so I'm a bit more biased.
The owner of this place is so kind, thoughtful and generous. The food is also amazing! Just moved here from Barrie, so we've had our fair share of different Chinese food, and this place is actually so good and tasty at affordable prices! This place will be our new Saturday night take out.
Yesterday was the first time we ordered take out from here. The price was good, the food was well prepared, great tasting and stayed nice and hot till we got home to Sundridge. Will definitely order from here again.
This spot would run Canadian Chinese food restaurant competition right out of town, Powassan that is. Yeah tonight we tried it, food was fantastic!
We recently moved to the Nippising area and found a real gem at this Chinese food restaurant! We've ordered takeout on four occasions and ever time the food is super fresh and super tasty. As a foodie I totally recommend this restaurant for your Chinese food fix and Elaine, the owner is extremely nice and friendly :-. You have a customer in me... FOREVER!!!
First time eating here. I ordered around lunch time for a later pickup. The food came out a little late. Like 15 minutes. The most impressive thing was that the woman working was mindful I had a little one with me and offered them a drink while we waited. The food was also delicious! We will definitely be back.
Amazing food, with equally amazing service. A real hidden gem in small-town Northern Ontario! The people who run this restaurant are the nicest people you will ever meet, and they make genuine, classic, Canadian-Chinese cuisine of the absolute highest quality. If you ever find yourself in Powassan, do yourself a favour and check this place out!
They do not have eat in service at this time which is why I only rated 3 stars for atmosphere. The very busy girl who took our order was super friendly and efficient.Food: 5/5
You ever notice how you never see ads for Chinese food? Its cause its always good and everyone knows that. This place is exceptionally good, though. Vegetarian options: Veggie fried rice is delish, and plenty of other options as well.
Every dish we have tried from the China Garden has been excellent. Lots of flavor and variety in each menu item, and lots of options to choose from. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. We make the 25 minute drive to order from the China Garden
