My mom & I had a wonderful experience here. Both orders were full of flavor. We had Sizzling Beef & Basil Chicken. The Basil Chicken was awesome! The Basil is what makes this so good. All flavors in dish. Spicy and tasty! Service was excellent!Food: 5/5
I got carryout from China Garden today, and as I walked up to the storefront I immediately saw a sign that they were hiring this is something that greets patrons frequently these days, and unfortunately, is often a precursor to lacking customer service and satisfaction. However, my experience was anything but subpar. The service was wonderful, the people were friendly and attentive, and the food was out in about 5 minutes. Everything was in the bag as ordered, cooked perfectly, and tasted fantastic! Thank you for continuing to serve Defiance so well, despite staffing difficulties. You're doing a great job! Dietary restrictions: They were able to make certain things without MSG per my request, and were able to quickly and clearly tell me what items would have it that they were unable to remove it from. I then heard them pass it along to the cooks.
What a treat! I got to try China Gardens new Crispy Beef dish, and it did not disappoint! With crispy chewy beef strips coated in a sweet tangy sticky glaze, and just a touch of red chilli, served with steamed rice and broccoli, what’s not to love?!?! China Garden has done it again!
I always enjoy the China Garden in Defiance Ohio. The staff is friendly and helpful. I like seafood and the shrimp and scallops always taste fresh and the shrimp always have a crunch to them. The food portions are good size and we always have to get to go boxes. I do wish they would get different spring rolls. These are the crispy flaky ones that most people expect a spring roll to be. Place is trash Orange chicken - no sauce on it at all Lo mein - no flavor or sauce at all Egg fried rice - no flavor or anything in it just basically rice
The sweet & sour sauce is SO good. Along with their egg drop soup. Waitress was very nice. It was our first time eating there, she was patient with us as we didn't know what to get. Loved the beautiful plates & bowls. Thank you for lunch! Definitely be back soon
First visit. Food was hot and fresh but pretty bland. The fried rice had no egg or veggies at all in it. Orange chicken didn't taste "orange". The waitress was snippy, as if we were a bother. Food was just ok. Edible, but not flavorful. But, the reason I choose not to return is bc when we went to pay the bill they added 3% to my bill for using a debit card instead of cash. There was no notice of this on the menu or from staff prior to ordering or posted on the door when entering. Only a small sign near the register as you are leaving. Not cool.

Ordered boneless spare ribs and got sweet and sour chicken type meat. They insisted they were right. I'm not blind.
Mongolian beef to much salt in it it was not edible Sweet & sour chicken had very little sauce. I called back he say that’s the way they make it people like it. Its was bad or order was short before . So I called to get it fixed and he said no people like it like that. I tried Yuk
