I’m completely disgusted. This lo mein is spaghetti noodles. Dry and lifeless. All my rice on both plates is mushy and overcooked. The spring rolls are mushy as well. The chicken for my sweet and sour chicken has some pieces that are black. The soup that was randomly put in my bag almost made me vomit.
I don't know where to begin. The sushi sizes were nible size and were not freshly made because it was served cold - as in refrigerated sushi you buy from Walmart. The jumbo I ordered was just the same size with just six additional pieces....seriously. The sashimi were not evenly cut - see the attached pictures. Ham fried rice not freshly made, bland, and the person who made seems like they've never tried an authentic Chinese fried rice. Negative four stars. Layton roll is their only saving grace that earned them five stars for a total of one star. I do not recommend this outlet. If there was a real Chinese chef in this establishment, they must have been fast asleep because the food served to me were the worst of its kind. 70 dollars invested in this review.
How you can call this food Chinese is beyond me. First of all, linguini noodles are not used for lo mein?! Every single dish was flavorless. The rice was mushy and tasted microwaved. General taos and sweet and sour were small pieces of fried chicken with barely any meat and both sauces were bland! Who puts raw carrots on top of sweet and sour? If you were to serve this food in any other diverse city they would shut you down immediately for lack of taste and serving food most dogs won’t eat. Utah food you once again disappoint me.
I have had my fair share of Chinese food and this is my new go to, in the Layton, Syracuse, Clearfield, Kaysville area. My 3 top reasons. 1 Customer service. The staff was kind, professional and prompt. This includes the waiting and the time for the food. It was excellent! 2 The food itself. It's later in the day and I'm not feeling yucky. I ordered the orange chicken and the chicken lo mien. Cooked to perfection, tasted fantastic! I'm excited to go back for some of their other dishes like Strawberry chicken. Their ham fries rice was delicious as well! 3 Portion size for the price. The price for the lunch size was perfect. I ordered two dishes this time, not knowing how much food it was and two was too much. BONUS: Atmosphere. Light music playing in the background brought the experience together. I'm excited to go back again.
This place has amazing Chinese food it is one of my all time favorite places in Utah for when I'm in the mood for Chinese, or hungry in general. I'd recommend their sweet n sour chicken it's pretty good. I've never eaten at the restaurants location I always have gotten takeout so im not sure how the dine in experience is but I certainly recommend it for take out, for the quality of food and for the superior customer service they offer. They even start to remember your order after you've placed an order with them a few times and once they even called back and said they thought we had accidently ordered to much because we had a bunch of family over and they called to make sure we didn't order more food then we could eat and therefore would have got just to waste. I thought it was pretty cool of them
I personally think they have very good food here. Their egg foo young is the best I've ever had! Their hot and sour soup too! And the people there have always been nice in my experience.
We where out looking for someplace to eat and came across this gem. The food here was absolutely fantastic and so was the service. The food was done perfectly. We are so happy we stopped in. We look forward to coming here again.
I got takeout on Christmas night. The food was delicious, and there was lots of it. Sweet and sour chicken, teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, ham fried rice. I highly recommend it!
Super fast delivery. Staying at local hotel, and they delivered within 15minutes. Food was hot and fresh. Good sesame chicken. Chinese food is always hit and miss for me, most of this was pretty good. Didn't care for the egg rolls. Potstickers were deep fried and very good. Lo mein was good. Not too greasy. Huge portions for the price!
Ordered online. Picked up order in store. Got what I ordered. Could not pay online, kinda frustrating. Good was good, not amazing. I received what I was expecting. For silverware, napkins or condiments given with order.
