This Chinese restaurant is awesome. Their delivery is always speedy. Even in a snowstorm. They have the best crab rangoon I have ever had. The rest of the food was great too. This is the only Chinese I ever need to order.Food: 5/5
We ordered the sesame chicken, General Tso’s chicken and fried pork wontons. It was apparent that they use the same fryer for seafood as they do for everything else. Our meals had a strong, unpleasant fishy taste and we ended up throwing it away after eating about a quarter of the chicken. I wish we would have thrown it away sooner since we both ended up with food poisoning from these dishes. Will not be ordering from here again and would not recommend unless you want chicken and pork that taste like fish that’s been sitting out for a couple of days
I ordered the shrimp Lo Mein a little spicy. Be sure what your pallette can take cuz a little was enough for me. It was fantastic, tho! That little spice made the difference. It was delicious. You can order online now, too! Woo hoo! They said up to an hour, and it was here within 30 mins for sure! Very nice gentleman who made delivery also. It's worth the money. Vegetarian options: Yes there are
Food was slimy and smell horrible. Never will I try this place again. My chicken smelled like fish.Food: 1/5
If you order from here make sure they send an eating utensil with. I ordered from here but no spoon or fork as im a truck driver and no way to get one. I can eat the rangoon and egg rolls but not the actual dinner
I ordered for the first time yesterday. The food tasted like it had been left out all day. The chicken was so tough and dry. The fried rice seemed like it was undercooked. It was dry, hard, and had no flavor. The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place. Edit: I know this is too much information but I had the worst case of diarrhea after eating this food which tells you a lot about this place. It needs to be shut down.
Food is way over priced and way to small portions for the price. I have been eating here for many years but this was my first visit in a few years and well I'm not going back. Food was horrible. General tso was not good at all and the chicken lo mein was made up of thin mushy flat noodles and vary few veggies. So if u would want advise intill this restaurant starts making alot better quality food. Then go to a nice sit down Chinese restaurant.
THIS IS NOT HAPPY GARDEN. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT HAPPY GARDEN!!!!!! Although I found out a bit late-at least now I know why the quality has gone down the drain. Food was cold when it got here and took 45 minutes longer than the quoted time. . . Which was 45 minutes. :/. It would’ve been fine if it stopped at that but Jesus this place gave me advanced tickets to the bathroom. Been a while since Happy Garden changed ownership and although I am dense for not figuring it out earlier, it’s so suspicious of them to take over the phone number. The new place called China Wok that is where the old Happy Garden is seems to have a completely new number. Wished I found that out earlier-would’ve saved me some trips to the bathroom.
Had many Chinese meals over the years and 9 times out of 10, hunan chicken, Kung pow, spicy chicken......you get the idea, are all very similar. Tonight's meal lacked any spice and very little flavor. If I see a pepper next to an item and order it that means I want spice. Hope it was just an off night.
Lunch Buffet disaster, all of the food was room temperature. Some of the food was still cold, as though it was left over, refrigerated, and put back on the buffet without enough time to properly warm up. I opened the fried rice container and a sour smell filled the air. The floor was utterly filthy. Look under the table legs, it is caked with dirt. Some of the ceiling tiles look rotted from leaks and appear ready to fall out. I have never written a review before but feel people need to be warned about this place, DO NOT GO HERE! Just a hint for the cooks, chicken should not taste like fish. The dirty dishes that were on a table when we entered were still there when we left. The place was not busy, only three tables being used and still they could not clear the tables of used dishes. WOW.
