I went here with a bunch of buddies and was expecting greatness. Well it was great, but only how big the buffet was and the variety of food. The food didn't taste the best which is why only 3 stars and I definitely won't be coming back. Overall good for a buffet.Food: 3/5
I was charged $39.00 for 2 To go buffets one was for my 5 yr old daughter. Almost 20 bucks person the 2nd buffet was for my 14 yr old. Food was not hot and fresh chicken skewers were old hard and dried out. So disappointing. They were so excited to get Chinese food from there because it's been over a year since we have been there. Might be alot longer for that price. If the food was amazing I wouldn't complain but my 14 got stomach cramps and diarrhea from it. I hope someone comes to inspect soon, give them tips on food safety this place used to be amazing and we loved coming here maybe we caught them on an off day. Also alot of food was not stocked
Dude! The lady at the desk didn't greet us. I hope it wasn't my melanin. She simply barked at us to 'Sanitize!' Wow, I had hoped we were past this kind of treatment...germophobic AND rude?! How is this place in business? The deviled eggs were dry and hard. The service only included swiping my card. Other than that you're on your own. Including seating yourself and getting your own drinks. My kids were upset that the rootbeer was out. Saw a lot of entrees empty and not replaced. The cream cheese in the fried wontons were bland. The generals chicken was as sweet as my kid's koolaid. The chicken on a stick was over cooked and hard to swallow. Was here to visit family. We'll go to Pizza Ranch buffet next time I suggest you do as well :
I was unhappy when I found out how much it cost it was about 15 dollars per person but they have a lot better options then when I last went and the food was all pretty good and I didn't get sick so that's good becuase I heard it was a possibility. The staff were all very nice and overall it was a fairly good place I would give it a 4.3 if I was bieng more specific

This place is gross. The food is nasty, the employees are rude, and even though you pay for the food, they don't want to refund you when they overcharge you!! I will not be going back to that restaurant at all

There used to be a China buffet in Mankato, but it went downhill very fast, so I was happy to see another real Chinese buffet with a great selection. My daughter and myself do not care for Chinese food, but we both found plenty of food to fill up on.Food: 5/5
Very crowded and food was not always available. Buffet line would be without for 5+ minutes before it was restocked. Food was fair for a small buffet. Service at the table was good, responsive and pleasant. When back in Fairmount may try again.
