We have visited their food truck a few times and it has always been great. We have tried all the meats and feel the steak is the best. Overall a great experience and we hope to eat again soon.
We had tried the Chili Lime food truck years back and were excited to stop in the restaurant. Food was great. Shrimp tacos and chicken tachos were fabulous. My only reason for 4/5 is the bathroom was pretty dirty when we were there.Food: 5/5
Nice local place. A little rough around the edges but very good service provided by Chazz. Tried a cheese quesadilla and carnita taco. Was very good.
Went to the Champlin location. We did a to go order which was about $100 worth of food. When we got home we realized we were missing 4 tacos and didn’t get the saucy tots like we had ordered we ended up receiving regular tater tots They also do not have a labeling system so we weren’t able to tell which tacos were which. I tried to call to have them fix and the number seems like a cell phone with a full vm box. The food we did get was delicious though.
This place is great. Gone twice so far and the tacos are really good! Fresh ingredients. Bang bang shrimp, spicy fish, and carnitas tacos are my go to. Prices also reasonable. Better for carry out, but give this place a shot if you like simple and fresh tacos.Recommended dishesStreet Tacos, Bang Bang, Fish Taco, Carnitas, Bang Bang Shrimp Taco
Amazing staff, good drinks, food was not the best for me. The sauces were really sweet, if you like sweet food you will like this place, they put ALOT of sauce on their food. The tots were soggy, could of just been a off day bc they have good reviews. The waitresses were amazing, very nice people
We tried Chili Lime when they first opened and weren't impressed, decided to give it another try since it's been a few years. I love supporting a local restaurant but this place has been unimpressive and screwed up our order both times. First, no one said hello and I stood there staring at the sign waiting. Finally another person went up to the counter and ordered on the tablet. This isn't super obvious because they look like credit card machines when you first walk in. It would have been nice if someone at least said hello or welcome. Tonight we had 7 different tacos, every single one, save one, was sweet and had way too much sauce. We got the wrong meat on one, the one that was supposed to have no onions had onions so I couldn't eat it food sensitivity, and the fish was so cold I swear it came straight from the fridge. Such a disappointing meal. We won't be back.
Not good. 1/2 the food was cold. Cheese sauce was clearly from a gallon can. Not enough sauce on the tacos to support the two dry corn tortillas, and then it's 50 cents for extra sauce. Cabbage on tacos wasn't a coleslaw style it just just dry cabbage. see extra charge for sauces above Tots were the same as you can get at any state fair or carnival. Chips were OK. Just OK. The sauces were bland and flavorless. No option for anything hot other than Sriracha which isn't unique or particularly good. Overall a disappointing experience. They did photograph well tho. So one star for that!
My second time here within the last year. Last time I was there in the evening with my husband and he said he would never go back. I thought I would give it a 2nd chance for a much needed lunch break. First off, I recieved no greeting from the 2 employees standing there when I walked in. Used the kiosk to order and had to use the bathroom. Gross. The toilet or anything in there have never been cleaned probably since they opened and the toilet paper dispenser was broke so the roll was just sitting there with dirt covering one side. That tells me a lot about the pride the owner takes in their business. The tots were not seasoned as advertised. The fish taco had zero flavor. I am no longer a customer. Take a chance if you want, but you'll end up to see and taste what I'm talking about.
The food me and my wife had was excellent but the place was really dirty. We had to clean off our own table with napkins.
