Chicko Chicken

Yummy! Ordered the Boneless Snow Cheese Chicken and the Shake Shake Fries. The cheese powder is a delicious blend of cheesy and sweet that goes well with the juicy and crispy chicken. The Shake Shake Fries are a fun, they give you a container of the cheese powder that you dump onto the fries and then you give the bag a good shake to coat. On their own or paired with other sides/chicken flavors, these two are delicious; but it was a lot of cheese altogether. Definitely recommend you stop by. I know I'll be back to sample their other flavors in the future.

The chicken is so good here, it literally makes me want to buy a chicko chicken just so I can eat it everyday. But then I’d have to buy a gym or I’d have a heart attack so I’ll just stick to buying it at the Guildford location. The fries are also out of this world. The shake shake fries are definitely unique. First bite, I wasn’t sure. Second one, I was a little more convinced but I continuously kept eating them until the bag was empty so I think it’s safe to say, I enjoyed them. 10/10 chicken and 10/10 after 3 bites of the shake shake fries.

Amazing chicken! Very impressed. The chicken was juicy inside, crunchy outside, and flavourful throughout. The sauce to chicken ratio was perfect and not overpowering. Came with a large portion of radish and oshinko. They even gave us a free pop for our take out order. Probably the best Korean fried chicken in Surrey!

I understand chicko no longer gives the radish with your order but how is a large radish filled 1/3 of the way?? It’s a rip off. Can’t compare with B.b.q chicken in this regard

The sign and price said full order comes with pickled radish and drink and the half order comes with pickled radish. When I brought it up with the cashier, she said it doesn't come with it anymore. What a sham! FALSE ADVERTISING! Will never go back again!

They're super busy at this location. I tried calling their phone about 3 times, since the website and app don't work, and they still didn't pick up so I went in to order. Estimated about 50 mins but I was already there and had set my sights on the Korean fried chicken. Crispy outside, juicy inside and big portions. I ordered half yangyeom and half buldak but I can see what the other reviewer was saying about not all the chicken being covered in sauce. It was a little disappointing as I've tried the downtown Vancouver and Abbotsford location and their chicken was soaked in sauce. I'd still come back just for the chicken since this location is closer but I wish the head office or whatever gets organized and fixes the online ordering problems as it's been a couple months now.

I ordered half and half original and buldak spicy. They also give a bottle of free drink if you place a full size order. Taste is pretty good, more on the sweet and spicy side. Original is crunchy and juicy. Overall great Korean fried chicken.

We ordered the spicy chicken and the soy sauce chicken but they were not fully cooked. We had to microwave the chickens so they are fully cooked. When we cut them in half, the chicken was kind of pink. After microwaving them now they aren’t crispy anymore.Recommended dishesDeep Fried Chicken

I ordered fried chicken and fries. Both items tasted very bitter, a clear sign of using bad/old oil. French fries were so soggy to the point where it looked like it was pickled in oil. This was for a pick up order so there is no excuse for the soggyness. I was so appalled at the quality of the fries that I had to drive back to complain. The staff took my soggy fries and refried them in the same bad oil for another 30 seconds. When I questioned them again, all I got was sarcastic remarks by the staff. I had already heard bad feedback about this location but thought I would give them a chance... I will not be eating here again. Wish I could give them zero stars.

Wish there was “0” stars option! Horrible customer service experience from this chicko chicken location! First I called them to make an order and they put me on hold for over 5 min. Tried calling them again and the line was busy. Went in-person and made my order. Cashier said 35-40min. Went in after 40min to be told nope not ready yet wait another 20 min. Went back in after 20min & guess what?! Still not ready and was told come back in 10min. There’s no reason it should take over an HOUR to fry up some chicken! When I complained about the wait time all they could muster was “sorry, take a drink for free”. Really?! How’re you gonna offer a “free” drink when you can’t even get “the order comes with free pickled radish” right! So as you guessed, when I got home and opened the bag there was none of this supposed pickled radish. Never coming to this restaurant ever ever again! Hope the manager/owner reads these comments & responds otherwise yall will lose potential customers. My advice to customers is don’t go to this place unless you wanna wait 1+ hours to get your food!!!
