Food has risen in cost greatly yet the food itself has gotten worse. Fully loaded nachos did not have the bbq sauce on them as advertised. Looked as tho a toddler put the food together. Over all bland. Take out order had no Napkins in it. Paid almost 80 dollars for 2 appetizers and 2 kids pizzas. Only good thing was kids were happy.
Chicken is to die for. Always busy spot in the bay to get good food. My son lives in Halifax and every time he is home we have to get a big feed of this for him. A vist back home wouldn't be complete without Chicken Shack for supper. A+
Food is great, but the service is awful every time I order something from delivery they always forget something…. and by the time they bring it to me I have already eaten my food they do not compensate for their mistakes.

This place has really good food. Busy spot so maybe order ahead of time. Staff are really friendly and fast.
Clucky Cones is not accessible for those using a wheelchair. The door to the chicken shack does not have a power door and you are not allowed to access ice cream through the restaurant.

We just moved to Glace Bay and knew about the Chicken Shack from the vacation that caused us to move here. Really good food, great customer service, and while it wasn't the reason we moved here, my partner said it factored in there. I highly recommend this restaurant.
