Chicken Plus

We had a wonderful experience at Chicken Plus. If you want fried chicken that’s truly quite different from the regular fried chicken, this is the place. It’s so delicious! The chicken is amazingly juicy with a slight crispy coat on the outside. It comes on top of Korean rice cakes which are also so delicious! Many varieties of unique flavours too. The staff are so nice! They cared to explain in details about the food and which items would be best paired. They also explained to us how Koreans usually enjoy fried chicken with beer. I honestly loved this place! They made me feel wanted! I’m so coming back for the rest of the fried chickens and rice cakes.

Wanted to try something new for a special occasion. It was this place or BRTMLK. Feel like we made the right choice. The chicken was saucy. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The snowing fries has a nice sweetness I didn't expect. Most definetly Stache Certified. The Waitress was so awesome and down to earth too. Great experience.

Great tasting, good quality Korean fried chicken always. I order takeout and the food is always ready within 20 minutes prepared fresh. All the fried chicken is good. I’ve tried Soy Garlic, Yang Nyuem, Honey Brown and Red Marvel Chicken. They’re all amazing flavours and I look forward to trying them all. Rose Tteokbokki was better than original imo. Prices are on the expensive side, especially for tteokbokki. Sometimes they have deals for certain items. Overall don’t mind paying the higher price for quality of the chicken and the meal.

Finally a genuine, authentic Korean styled Fried Chicken in London!!! I no longer have to drive 2 hours to Toronto to satisfy my Korean Fried Chicken craving!! Before this place opened up, I had visited and sampled pretty much every Korean/Japanese restaurants in London that served their own version of Fried Chicken... only to end up in utter disappointments as they all tasted like something I could've made in my own kitchen with my feet. For those who are unaware, Chicken Plus is a franchise that is well established in Korea with over 400+ locations nationwide. The fact a brave soul decided to open up a location here, out of all places, in London Ontario, is a true blessing. The chicken is very tender, as it has just enough coating of fried layer to make it crunchy on the outside but very soft inside as you bite down on them - and most importantly, the chickens aren't dry or tough, they are juicy. Unlike the other notable Korean chicken franchise that have locations in Toronto, the BBQ chicken, the meats here don't leave any bad after-taste and don't taste greasy or oily at all. Even after consuming the entire large + small chicken with my family, it didn't leave me feeling uncomfortable in the stomach as is often the case with fried foods. They must either be using very clean oil and changes them regularly, or use a combination of deep fry + air fry to ensure the oil stays off of chicken which is awesome. The Yangnyum chicken is just sweet enough and is not very spicy as it shouldn't be - they actually serve the spicy fried chicken as a separate menu which I very much appreciate - and the portion is very generous when you order a large. In terms of quality I would say they are on par or better than some other famous Korean chicken places in Canada like The Fry, Mymychicken, BBQ chicken and so forth. As this is a new establishment here and barely open for about a month or so to my knowledge, it is kept very clean with LOTS of tables and seatings available. Lastly the owner here is awesome - he tries very hard to please and I saw him treating other customers at other tables with just as much friendliness and attention that customers appreciate. Once this place start serving alcohol, which I would imagine to be soon, I can guarantee you this place will blow up like crazy. Whether you've never had Korean Fried chicken before, or if you've been looking for a good place that serves them in London, I highly recommend you try this place. Overall, 10 out of 10 - will definitely be returning more often.

Chicken so juicy and crispy. Sauce is good. Tobokki comes in shareable size. The owner was so accommodating and kind to us. He even gave my 2 year-old some free fries to eat. Will definitely recommend Chicken Plus to friends.

Ordered the half and half chicken with snowing cheese fried chicken and yang-nyuem fried chicken and snowing cheese fries. Both were boneless fried chicken because I was told the boned chicken would take 20 minutes. Unfortunately the chicken was not crunchy. Since the place recently opened some of the menu is not available. The pickled radish was very refreshing. Flavour wise both were good. The rice cakes in the yang-nyuem were a nice touch. The potato wedges in the snowing cheese chicken were too dry. The highlight is the snowing cheese fries, very addictive. Overall, a good Korean fried chicken spot with interesting flavours and options.

A friend and I went here for dinner on a Sunday. We ordered the rose teokbokki, creamy onion chicken bone in, rice and the green grape soju. They gave us 2 free cans of soda with our order. Very friendly customer service. The star of the night was the rose teokbokki, creamy and not too spicy. We loved it soo much! The chicken was also really juicy and crunchy. They really took good care of us. We’ll definitely be back for more!

This was well worth the wait. Super tender dark meat is used? and fresh chicken pieces, not to mention how crispy and full of flavour their french fries were. A new take on Korean fried chicken with its distinctive and original taste. I can't wait to go back and try all the other flavours come December 1st, as that is when their Grand Opening will be, and more menu items to choose from will be available then. Last but not least, superb service. I was taken back by how kind the owners were. Highly recommended. P.S. Stellar packaging design. Bravo.

It's finally open! Fresh, hot, juicy fried chicken with authentic Korean flavours. Forget whatever your dinner plans were, and go get this chicken now. They'll soon have draught beer and more menu items once they're fully open, so I'm definitely going back!

Took a few bites before taking the pictures. Have to say Ive been in london since 2015 but never had good korean fried chicken that met my expectations until chicken plus. The chicken is so tender and juicy, the owner there seems so genuinely nice and hard working. He has a great philosophy for his fried chicken, if the chicken tastes as good the next day, it really is good fried chicken. I would say the owner would keep to his high standards and thats why the food tasted so great. He also mentioned that there arent a lot of workers yet as they just opened but the service was still amazing. The store is super clean and food came out timely.
