It took way to long to get the chicken out, waited almost fourty five minutes! I wanted to get our money lucky for that crew my husband waited. Next time we will go get something different!!!Food: 4/5
I hate to give this such a low review. As a customer who's had their food over the year's, I can definitely say the customer service is not what it use to be. The chicken still tastes the same, but overall, it's not the Chicken Coop that it once was.

I can't say enough about how much better this location is in comparison to the M139 location! The food is always hot and fresh at both locations. What's the problem you may ask...the M139 location has forgotten the sides with my dinners more than a couple of times and they NEVER offer nor remember to give utensils or condiments! The St. Joe location never fails me. I always get a nice hot meal from far friendlier people, and they always offer utensils and condiments! Worth the out of the way drive every single time!
I would give 5 stars normally because the chicken is always delicious and they are generous with their sides and we all always get good service. My complaint is, we always order a 1/2 pound of chicken livers. The last time we got them, which was a few months ago because they are always out of them, they were burnt to a crisp. Tonight, we placed an order for 8 pc. chicken bucket and 1/2 lb. chicken livers, which cost $22+ and the livers once again were burnt to a crisp and inedible, so we paid over $22 for 8 pices of chicken. I'm pretty sure we could buy several whole chickens for $22. I guess we will no longer order the chicken livers, which is really the reason we go there in the 1st place.
There are some rude young people work here. They will keep you on hold and don't come back to the phone when placing a to go order. They will not answer the phone most times or it stays busy. Also, I asked for my pop which they forgot to give me and a young girl told me that I was being aggravating. I called a couple of days later and the owner told me that she's only 15 years old and he will talk to her. Good chicken but TERRIBLE customer service! Being 15 yrs old doesn't give you the right to disrespect a paying customer who was being patient after we called the order in and took us 15 minutes to get there then we waitied another 15 minutes. Terrible place!
As I was sitting in the drive through waiting to order, I spied a nice older gentleman in the lot next door selling chicks. I walked over and struck up a conversation and ended up buying two chicks. I placed my order and pulled up behind the van in front of me. I put the chicks in the back and started watching videos on my phone. When the van left, I had raised the chicks to fine fryer size, dispatched them and cooked the up nice. I wonder what Chicken Coop chicken tastes like. I left after 30 minutes in drive through. 3 *'s for the two people actually working there.
15 minutes waiting for order around 7:00pm. Get home with order and sides of baked beans and macaroni & cheese are quite cool. $24.00 dollars not well spent. Order # 4S6107YFF5JFR for reference. Will look elsewhere next time to get value for my money
