Chicken Chef is a full service family restaurant with dine in and take out service. It is a Canadian company that was started in Carman, Manitoba in 1978. Franchising began in 1984. Since opening the first store, Chicken Chef has expanded to more than 40 locations in Canada. There are no company owned stores.

Chicken is the specialty of the restaurant with millions of pieces sold to date. It is made with a special seasoning and is pressure cooked to perfection. Other popular menu items such as fresh dough pizza, hamburgers, fish and shrimp will satisfy all of your family's tastes.

Worst customer service. Ordered two breakfasts and a coffee and tea, got our beverages, then waited over forty minutes for our food. The dining area was mostly empty and I only saw a couple of pick up orders. We got up, paid for our beverages and left. They had not even started our order. Wish there was an option for zero stars.
The hot chicken sandwich reminded me of childhood - was just missing the peas and mashed potatoes. A definite comfort food. We thought the portion for the quesadilla was good and it had a good flavor. Chicken was tender in both meals. Servers were pleasant and attentive. We appreciated the coffee after a long drive! Price was okay. Location has apparently been remodeled so it is new and clean. Recommendation would be to sweep main areas and check washrooms i.e. for hand soap when there is lull in customers. Also to make sure back area talk is not so loud that customers can overhear the conversations. Other than this, we thought it was an enjoyable meal in a quaint small town.
Chefs salad is a huge plate, be prepared.n--Edit--nNevermind, chefs salad has gotten significantly smaller!! Very disappointed!! Plus the little blonde girl with the dark eyebrows was coughing all over the place. Lost stars, lost future customer. Salad cost too much for too little... used to be twice the size, cost $16 for this little plate.nnFirst two pictures show what Ive just recieved, final picture shows what it used to be... just 2 days ago... reduced majorily... half the size now.
Young staff, but they were very good. Attentive and quick service with good food!
Lovely place to eat with amazing food just wish they would hire more workers, this place is always busy and there's always a line out the door, I think this place would benefit if more staff were hired to manage the over flow of customers.
