A delicious spot for yummy mexican food! The price is great and the portions you get are huge and super filling! Great atmosphere and ambiance too of the restaurant, you can sit outside or inside. I got the enchiladas with red sauce for $16.
Walked in to order food and was told we needed reservations, strange since the place was virtually empty. Asked if we could order the food to go and was told that it would be 35 minutes. We ordered and came back in 35 minutes and was told it would take another 15 minutes. It actually ended up being another 25 minutes and we only ordered 2 quesadillas and a burrito? Then when we finally got the take out it was paper plates covered with tin foil and was given to us in a plastic grocery bag No Frills. Food was bland, tasted like pre-packaged minute rice. Will not eat there again.
Ordered take out. My mom and I had a margarita on the patio while we waited. Food was amazing. We’ll be back. Thank you
Over all the food was amazing!! My colleagues ordered the tacos and they looked amazing. Food was good. My only complaint would be - very dim lighting. We sat off to the left when you walk in, in the corner at night time. Very very dim lighting. We had mini lights on the table and one dim main light over head. Made for an awkward dinner because we could hardly see. It looked like they had a large light sign on the wall/ that would have provided more light- but it was off or broken! I would go again during the day time.
Server was nice, but the food was not good. The reason I gave two stars instead of one is because the beef taco was actually very flavourful, but the chicken was cold and the pork was so bland. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.
The server was very polite and friendly but ultimately didn't get the sauce I requested right. The food has good flavor but was lacking in creativity and uniqueness. The Frozen drinks were good. The building & decor was nice g has a great vibe. The menu looked pretty sad with all the items covered in tape that were no longer available. All in all I may return in the future to give them another try. Hopefully they invest a little in a proper menu.
Great Food & Service! Kids loved the Walking Taco’s!
Tried Chicanos for breakfast the other day, nobody in there at all just the server and the cook. Eggs were hard, ordered easy over, bacon cold, and the hallway leading into the kitchen was filthy, and I mean filthy. Looked like it had never been cleaned in a week or more. Gave this place one star because I couldn't give it less!!
The server was nice, but the food was a huge disappointment. The rice was good, but tasted like a minute rice you could make at home, and the portion of rice and beans they give you is like a spoonful. They put arugula salad in a Mexican burrito ? and the peppers were crunchy and overall, the dinner had little flavor. The wait time was long, and the restaurant and outdoor seating did not look or feel clean. Price was high for the food quality, when you could go up the street and pay the same thing at a different restaurant for better food. May be okay for a vegan/vegetarian option, but definitely not authentic Mexican food.
Very disappointed. So overpriced and tasted like grocery store boxed food. It was $100 for 2 of us to eat fajitas and a taco salad with a picture of margaritas. Very small portions. So bland. Waited for over 2 years to try this place out.
