Food is good, I had to get used to the crunchy crust bread but it was one of the best subs I have hadFood: 5/5
The disrespectful attitude we just received from the kid at Chicago subs made us so uncomfortable we almost walked out. We walked in and she was already in a bad mood bc she got in trouble for mopping before sweeping the floor. She said she swept but it certainly did not look like it. And then was told to wait on the customers, she did not wash her hands after touching the mop head that touched the dirty floor, she did not greet us and ask us what she could make she just stood there with the dirtiest look she could give the whole time we were just simply trying to get lunch. She barely put anything on my husband's sandwich and we had to go to a different restaurant to get something else because he only had 4 pieces of meat on his sandwich. We are all for supporting local owners but this is not the first time we've run into a rude kid with a bad attitude. So not only did we have to spend 15.00, we spent 15.00 on food that could have been contaminated, and for a sandwich that's basically a loaf of bread.
Beats subway by a long shot. Way more choices of topping. I love it
BEST sub place in the tri-county area. fresh food, courteous help. Good prices, especially on Tuesday- buy a sub and a soda, get another sub for .99!!!!! Go there today. No one compares. BTW- If you read Kelly Ross's review below...he was trying to review subway, not Chicago Fresh Sliced Subs! haha.
I’ve eaten here many times since moving to the area about a year ago and have not been disappointed even once. The meat and vegetables are fresh and of good quality. The place beats Subway hands-down. Not even a comparison there. I haven’t seen other places generally offer items like spinach leaves and green olives or even jalapeños for its subs - but this place does. Oh, and if you want a little extra of any of the vegetables, just ask them. That’s another difference from some of the other sub shops around. Yes, extra meat and extra cheese will cost a little extra like everywhere else. My favorites? Their spicy Italian is like Subway’s BMT but better, and their tuna salad subs have always been great. Tuesdays are the best days to go if you don’t mind waiting in line for a while - buy a sub and a large drink and get another sub for $0.99 I think. Considering that they’re in the same building with A&W, you can buy a large soda from them and fill it up with A&W’s freshly made root beer. Nobody really cares as I think all the restaurants there are run by the same folks.
This place is very close to my heart. It is my dad's favorite sandwich shop and we take an hour trip to this specific store because he grew up around the corner on a farm nearby. We live in suburbs about an hour away and will drive all the way out for the sandwiches there meaning they have great sandwiches. They always put plenty of meat and veggies, way more than other sub shops. The prices are amazing and they always have deals going on. Everything looks clean in the inside and every single time we go the customer service is excellent. We will be back soon and then again after that and then again after that LOL

If you want to try the best subs within a 50mile radius of Orwell, Ohio you have to get out here and try their subs!! Tuesdays are the best day to go because they have a buy 1 12" sub and a drink and get your second 12" sub for 99cents!! Fresh and delicious!! A few of the older female staff are pretty rude for no reason though. Other then that I'd say try it out and when you get your drink I'd suggest also walking down to A&W and getting yourself a fresh root beer that they make in house daily!!
Excellent subs. I visit every Tuesday when the subs are buy one and get one for 99 cents with the purchase of a drink. They also have swiss cheese. Restrooms are available. They offer chips, cookies, fountain and bottled drinks. Chicago Fresh Subs is part of the A&W building, next to Maria's Pizzeria, and A&W with burgers, fries, ice cream, and of course fresh brewed A&W root beer. On Tuesdays at Chicago Fresh Subs there can be at line at times, but I've never seen it over 10 people being served and waiting. The line moves pretty fast unless people are ordering 4 or more subs at one time. I recommend it. Try it, you'll keep going back.
That curly haired boy make some good ol' classic style subs. Nothin' like him. My wife Christa and I always go in and get subs and when that curly haired boy's there it brightens my day, by golly. He's got pretty eyes and the most beautiful sub artist fingers I've ever seen. 5/5
