I had a wonderful dining experience at Chez Piggy Restaurant & Bar. I honestly can't remember the name of the dish I ordered, but I absolutely loved it—it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The coffee was also excellent and paired perfectly with their delicious dessert selection.nnOur server was fantastic and took the time to explain the menu and the history of the restaurant, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I thought it was fascinating to learn that the restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored limestone horse stable dating back to the early 1800s. The historic setting gives the place a unique charm and atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere.nnOverall, the food, service, and ambiance made for a memorable visit. I'd love to come back the next time I'm in Kingston. Highly recommended!
Chez Piggy is the GOAT of Kingston restaurants in my opinion. It’s a unique, cozy place renovated horse stables with very good food. It has maintained a high quality service and food standard for several decades. We had oysters fantastic, rib eye steak, gambas and micro greens and halloumi salad. Also with Pan Chancho bread and butter. Our server was funny and knowledgeable, enjoyed him very much. A great night out.
This is the fourth or fifth time visiting Chez Piggy. We aren't in Kingston that often, but when we are I always try and have a meal here.nthe atmosphere is awesome. The path/tunnel through century limestone walls. So very cool. The service is always top notch and the food is just incredible. It's an expensive night out for dinner, no doubt, but it's worth it.
This restaurant has a lovely family-style atmosphere, and I really enjoy coming here for brunch. The place feels warm, lively, and very welcoming.nWe visited on Mother’s Day, so it was extremely busy. Since we were walk-ins, the only available seats were at the bar, which was a bit of a pity, but the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.nI’m only taking off one point because the chips were a bit too fried and slightly overdone.
First visited here many years ago and still well worth a visit while in Downtown Kingston. Diverse, and well priced, wine list that includes local Ontario bottles. The menu is still delicious and innovative. We especially loved the cheddar and ale soup, as well as the scallops with brown butter served on risotto.
