This is for the chow mien at 2am. I was craving chow mien and Chinatown doesn't open late anymore on weekends, I've always heard about it here but never went. The chow mien is really meh. Slap some soy sauce and chop suey would have been good, but it's you know, super cheap. The spring roll and peanut butter dumplings were solid. Cash only at that hour
Channnn was sooo niiice and the food is just exactly what you need after going out. This chow-mein is FOR REAL what makes you feel good after a night at the bar. The only way to survive the hang over
Loved the chow mein combo with spring rolls onlyyyy 4.75 cad I’m screaming. Simple but delicious. + he gave us 2 dumplings for free
Nice for the price after clubbing.
Not authentic Chinese food by any means, but probably the best thing you can eat at night for ~$5 on St Laurent. Do not expect to receive a fancy meal here! Most of the clientele are probably drunk or tired from the nearby bars and clubs, so you can interpolate the quality of the food from the typical late-night cravings. Special mention to the $2 chow mein which is just fried noodles and sauce I recommend the peanut sauce, but strangely very delicious. If you're a bit more hungry, I would get the #5 which includes "tempura shrimp," though expect something closer to breaded torpedo shrimp. As of the writing of this review, it is operating at the "Resto Asahi" storefront, which it has been at for a while now.
Amazing cheap and tasty food worth every penny for a late night snack after the club or thr skatepark
