The place never disappoints. Service great and still love the great hot dogs and fries. Addition of pouttine, great additions for the times. Always recommend.
Classic hotdog and french fries joint, so retro and great vibe. Exceptional and friendly service as always and steamed hotdogs are great.
First time here, decided to try it after hearing about it. Place has been around since 1929. Overall pretty good, the food was good although the poutine portions a little small for the price. The decor is cool as they've kept it pretty original dating back to the 20's. We also liked the outdoor seating on the picnic tables. I would recommend them but be prepared to pay, the menu is not cheap considering this is hot dogs and fries.
Hot dog and poutine. Hot dog was a small size, but loaded with toppings. If you're expecting a big sausage type dog, you will be disappointed. For a dog under $3, it's perfect.nnPoutine was piping hot, loaded with curds. Gravy was good.nnFries are typical of Montreal small shops, which I generally am not a fan of... But it seems to be the norm here, so can't penalize them for that.nnDecor is cool - pictures all over the walls, mostly of hockey, but also of a few h-core customers.nnService was quick and friendly.nnCash only, but they have an ATM inside.
Plenty of tables to sit at outside however not many indoors and with chairs .nnPay by cash only!!! But very reasonable prices!nnMy go to is the poutine, the potato fries are thick and sweet and theres enough sauce and cheese is perfect and squeaky, and the portion is very well pakced for 8.75 taxes included. Friendly staff. Parking is reserved for them but usually a popular place so depending when you go, there may or may not be parking.nnLove this place!
