Nice neighbourhood coffee joint in burnaby. Ordered a few pastries and desserts to go. I liked the croissant, it was tasty. Nice and flaky. The three layered chocolate mousse was also quite good too. Prices are on a bit of the high side but overall I was pretty satisfied and happy.
Wow! High quality gourmet pastries. The Dubai Chocolate Croissant Cube is absolutely amazing with the best combination of crunch, creaminess, and butteriness all at once. Their croissants were above average as well. The cakes were finely made. Everything tasted delicious. Goes great with a cup of hot milk.
My visit to this cafe was long overdue, and I’m so glad I finally made it. It’s a stylish, modern spot with both indoor and outdoor seating — perfect for any kind of day. The pastries and cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious, and the coffee has a lovely fragrance with a smooth, balanced flavor. I was also pleasantly surprised by their wide selection of chocolates and jams, which makes it a great place for gift shopping too. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their cakes next time!
I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while because of all the hype around their baked goods — especially the croissants — and it did not disappoint! I got the double-baked matcha croissant and wow… it was incredible. So much matcha filling, and the flavor was spot on. I’m already planning my next trip over from North Van just to get it again.nnThe vibe inside is really cute too, even if the surrounding area isn’t the nicest — really hoping the neighborhood continues to grow so more great spots like this can thrive. Also tried the macarons and loved them, especially the pistachio and blueberry ones.nnGiven it’s a bakery, there are lots of options for vegetarians, but it’s not very vegan-friendly — I didn’t see anything vegan on the menu when I visited.nnI’ll definitely be back — and fingers crossed for a North Vancouver location someday!
I recently visited this charming dessert shop with my family for an afternoon tea, and it was a delightful experience. We ordered a double-baked almond tart and a fresh fruit tart, along with a couple of macaroons. Each treat was perfectly prepared – the almond tart had a lovely balance of rich flavors, while the fresh fruit tart was both refreshing and vibrant. The macaroons were light and delicate, with just the right amount of sweetness.nnThe customer service was excellent; the staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the ambiance of the shop added to the overall pleasant experience. The space was cozy yet elegant, creating a relaxed environment for enjoying our treats. Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon, and I’d highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for delicious desserts and a comfortable setting.
