Chevron

Polite staff and reasonable gas prices. I gas up here once a week and come here often for smokes. The staff are ready to go and polite so this is a 5/5 for me. There is a coffee station here that I like better and is cheaper than McDonalds or Starbucks. No car wash here. 8 pumps.

Went to get gas. After selecting the 87 octane noticed machine charged me at 91 octane rate. Went in to complain the guy can’t do anything about and and said will let manager know. Lost $0.20 per litre on fill up. Never going here again.

An elderly couple was having issues filling their tank. They just paid $20 but the car kept clicking after $7 as if the tank was full, but the gauge shows empty. It seems they have a blockage in their filler tube. I was approached by this couple, asking if I can offer assistance. I showed them how to do it to prevent over flow and notified the couple, it was just a waiting game. Out of no where, the station's speakers came on. The lady inside told us, "hurry up - my shift is ending!". I understand, she may be in a hurry or have some personal matter to tend to. But being a customer during business hours, our time should not revolve around her shift rotation. It was just plain rude. The elderly couple felt so pressured - they started pumping full pressure after I notified them to be careful, gas overflowed everywhere. I had to step in and say something. I don't know if the speakers were two way though:p FYI: the review is based on my experience on November 19, 2017 at 2100 hrs. This review does not reflect on the other staff, location or the brand.

On the weekend, I had the privilege of visiting this Chevron. I was walking with my ever-growing family to the local food source (McDonalds) when the force of Mother Nature fell on my colon like a spice-fueled thunderstorm. As I jogged, as with my knees tied together, into the restaurant, I was met with the most disconcerting handwritten notices of closure I've ever seen. Upon my storming of the Chevron doors, the clerk was very polite with my fervour. Upon the elimination of the problem, I noticed shreds of paper towel all over the floor, which I incorrectly guessed was caused by a burrowing animal somewhere in the room. However, when I went to dry my hands, I realized that the paper towel issue was due to a determined previous client attempting to get the jammed paper out. With wet hands, I was again warmly greeted by the clerk, who graciously did not draw further attention to my purchase-less, ten-minute visit. 4 out of 5 stars.

Never any issues. Not known as one of those "first place to have consistently lower prices". Lots of pumps, big convenience store.
