Chetek River Campground

We have stayed there many times,but not anymore.The hired help do not know there cancellation policies and give you false info. They told me I would have my deposited refunded when I call from on the road.Be careful of the 10 day in advance notification, cancellation policy. We had to cancel 3days before due arrival date,due to our dog having emergency surgery on the road. The manager was curt with me on the phone and under these circumstances never refunded my $33 deposit. We were going to stay 3 nights in the C/Ground again. He has cut his nose off to spite his face as this is one customer that will bypass this campground. Up date to my review: Yesterday July 31st I received a check in the mail for $ 23 from this campground. It was minus $10 for cancellation fee from the original $33. I appreciated this gesture from the owner. This was the right and proper thing to do, on his part due to my cancellation reason. Just to add to this : ended up coming home with our dog after the surgery. Thank you!

Great little campground. Swimming pool, playground, game room, mini golf, river nearby with tubing available, plenty of sites. We visit a few times a year and love it. Fun spot for the fam.

Great clean campground with lots of fun things to keep your kid's busy. We loved this campground and hated to leave!
