This is my favourite breakfast place in Ottawa. It never fails to deliver. New location just down the street from the previous one. Currently soft opening the one side of the dining area as of early September 2024. Food is always great quality and service is on point too. Breakfast sliders are my go to. Enjoy!
I had a pleasant brunch experience here. The staff were attentive and paid close attention to detail, which added a nice touch to the service. The food was of good quality, with appealing presentation and tasteful decoration. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit, and I’d recommend this place for its thoughtful service and well-prepared dishes.
I can understand why there is a weekend breakfast waiting list that usually leans toward waiting an hour or so. Their offerings are diverse and very ingenious. Almost anyone would find an interesting take on their favorite breakfast turned up to eleven. Prices are higher but so are the portion sizes. Essentially hard to go wrong with an egg + protein + carb pairing of main and sides. Highly recommended, just arrive early and relax at a nearby coffee shop for your entrance time.
Just a phenomenal meal every time I come here and this time was no exception. I had a latte and the “High Stakes Benny” - love the word play with Stake vs. Steak - and it did not disappoint. The temptation when coming to Chesterfield’s when getting a side is just to get the Brussels sprouts, because truly that is the best side, but I got the potatoes instead, and they were elite too.nnThis was the first time I came to the new location, and while it looks a little bit devoid of character on the walls on the main level pure white walls, but the table decorations were fun and the basement where the bathrooms are had some pretty crazy sunflower murals.nnYou should get here before it opens if you don’t want to be waiting an hour to be seated. I got there around 1045 and didn’t have a table promised to me until around 1215. The only knock I have other than the white walls was the second side room was a little bit small and the noise in the restaurant made it hard to have a normal conversation without feeling like I was yelling.
One of my favourite brunch spots in Ottawa! The place is a bit small so arrive early especially on Fridays and weekends or be ready to wait in line! I believe they are moving soon to a larger location though. Everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious; I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. Great service too!!
