The best oysters and fries!! We make the trip from Tacoma fairly often because it's so great.

Only 8 people in bar took 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. Had $20 on bar for another 5 plus minutes to play pull tabs and she ignored us. Another customer walked in after I asked for pull tabs and she said she had to "take care of the bar first" because she doesn't get anything from it. Um...pull tabs keep your customers there, drinking and maybe sharing winnings. Then she proceeded to talk loudly with other customers about how useless pull tabs are and continued to ignore us. I've traveled to 30+ states going to all kinds of dive bars and have worked in almost a dozen bars....among the worst service I've ever been given.

Such a friendly place. One of the best small town bars in the area.

Would actually give Chester's a 5. The service is hometown great always happy. The building is vintage and unique to anyone not familiar with the coast line life. The food great, the oysters are fresh. The crowd is friendly and trustworthy. Coffee is fresh the beer cold. Enjoy
