Great place for a summer patio dinner, had a group of 8 and chose the $40 per person set. Meat was tender, favourite being the ribs and the chicken. The brisket was tender and juicy. the pulled pork was a bit dry and the smoked sausage was my least favourite. The potato salad was very very good favourite side, close second being the coleslaw. Chili was good and had a little kick, mac and cheese was pretty bland.nnThe slush wasn't great tasted like they added syrup into crushed ice. Service was good.nnAtmosphere was really nice. Parking wasn't great if it's busy the street parking is quite packed.
First Canadian BBQ experience!nnI've had all types of BBQ from Texas, Carolina, St. Louis, Memphis and more. These guys do a good job overall.nnThe ribs and pulled pork were the stars tonight. The sausage was solid on flavor and texture. The brisket missed only due to being half fat. All of the meats had great flavor, were juicy and tender.nnTip: Skip the cornbread nuggets they call muffins and Mac & cheese.
This is a great no-nonsense BBQ joint with a good beer selection and awesome barbecue. We had the brisket, ribs and smoked chicken wings, with beans and coleslaw on the side. The brisket was good, the ribs were great, but the smoked chicken wings - those were out of this world. So flavorful, so delicious - hands down the best wings I've ever had.nIf you love BBQ I can't recommend this place enough.
Ordered Family Platter looks fantastic. Like the tender beef brisket, beef cubed and pork ribs. Pulled pork and sausage very salty. Chicken wings just ok. Every meat seasoned heavily, literally no need pairing with any sauce. Mini burger is good. We also ordered 5 sides - coleslaw cold from fridge Mac & cheese not recommended cold and hard mashed potatoes if you like vinegar sauce than mayo and baked red kidney bean with corn ….love it, nice combination. Well, not cheap but not everyday meal. Good for hanging with friends and family.
First, you have to order and pay at the counter, so goodluck getting customer service after you’ve paid. I had to ask for an extra napkin three times, and the waiter didn’t bring it in the end.nnThe food was okay, but it was served cold. The beef brisket was better than the rest, juicy and tender, but the pulled pork was really dry with no sauce on the side. We had to ask for sauce with our food otherwise they wouldn’t serve any sauce and they dont have any hot sauce, in a BBQ restaurant. The coleslaw and potato salad was terrible.nnThe area around the restaurant is terrible because of all the construction going on, so if you wanna go there on a date, know that you’re gonna eat near a construction site.
