Was cool. Good place to take the family. Trails are good and easy for kids. Hiked it in an hour caves aren't open tho.... No the less good time.
So much to explore! The paths are well maintained, though they are not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Lots of bluffs to climb and caves to crawl in. The Spring cave was truly beautiful.
It was a very neat place to visit.. the cave your was pretty neat but quite a wait and they enforce wearing your masks even outside while waiting. I understand the regulations set forth that require them to do so, however that by no means gives them the right to be rude about it. Having said that the park itself is very cool!
Great place for a small hike ! Make sure you bring a head light and knee pads to go through the caves!
This is one of those little known county parks, much like Eau Claire Dells in the Wausau area, that is a “must see”. The caves and trails are scenic and unique. The park has the Devils River running through it for added scenery. There is a picnic shelter near the parking area and even a small playground for kids.
The amount of volunteer work that goes into the park is just amazing! They have physically dug out hundreds of feet of caves for the community to tour free of charge. You can't see caves like this anywhere else in the area.
It was so beautiful and the green was still there even with all this snow and its truly stunning
