Good was absolutely delicious. The hospitality of our gracious hosts was even better. Chelochi is a fantastic restaurant, yet it feel is more like being hosted for a meal with this family as they really make you feel at home. We would come back to enjoy the savory meats all of them, and to try the other menu items, along with the desserts that are delightful without be overly sweet.
We had a dine-in experience & we loved the food. The interaction with the lady was very pleasant & enjoyable she explained about different starters/food before ordering which was very helpful We loves the food including the portion was more than enough for us despite the reviews. Maybe dine-in portions are different than take-out, not sure! Why 4 stars, I wish they had bigger space for families for dine-in & also we didn’t like the Persian ice cream as it was slushy than creamy. Also the location was very far for us but I’m happy that they offer delivery with certain amount of food order. We’ll be definitely recommend the place & go back to have an Authentic Persian Food & hoping the quality doesn’t go down as it seems to be an issue with many restaurants these days, they starts great & gradually decreasing the quality. Best of luck!
An experience worth every moment. The food was above and beyond what we expected. The rice pudding, all the kebabs we tried them all and even the eggplant appetizer were made masterfully. Absolutely delicious
We just happened to pass by this gem while visiting a business next door. We decided to check out and entered, to be greeted by the sweetest lady. As soon as we sat down, we were offered hot soup and then the menu. We shared couple of items. On the way back home we could not stop talking about it, how good it was. The rice, the kebab, eggplant starter and the icecream that we brought home, since we were so full, just from the shared starter and main. The chef at this place knows what he is doing, awesome
A wonderful small restaurant that's quite a find! Service and food was excellent. This restaurant is clean and comfortable. We were served a delicious cup of carrot soup to whet our appetites.Food: 5/5
The food was just amazing. The sour kebab was one of a kind and it was so flavourful and tender and so SOUR. The salad was great and once you sit they greet you with a nice soup and bread. The place is small but hopefully they become successful enough to expand so everyone can taste their amazing food.
Great local restaurant - family owned - that makes excellent Mediterranean food! The take out packaging is great - food stayed hot and presentation was nice. Will definitely go back!
The food is delicious!! Great prices, large portions, and quality ingredients. The Persian cuisine is a favorite for me now. Healthy choice menu items and lots of choices. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I will recommend to all my friends to come try, they'll love it!
What does Chelo chi means. Chelo mean rice , chi means expert. That is what the owner told me. The restaurant itself is very clean and well lit insider. Service is good. The owner asked me for feedback on the dipping sauce they made. I personally love middle eastern countries food. Found their recipes similar but quite difference. I hope this restaurant open location in toronto. It can compete with all the Lebanese or Iraqi restaurants. Well done. Mushroom soup Ayran yogurt drink Lamb chop plate. It’s very tasty. I miss the oven bake bread from other middle eastern restaurants. Love Chelo chi anyway.
Chelochi is definitely best Persian restaurant in town! Went there couple times and every time the food and service has exceeded my expectations. I ordered Naan & Kabob, the kabob is so tender, juicy and full of flavor! It is a must go place.
