This place is a local favorite! The food is good for a decent price and the portions are ideal. I’ve tried multiple things on the breakfast menu, my favorite is the Kimberly Sandwich! The staff is always friendly, even when they are super busy! The restaurant could use some updates but is overall a great place to visit for breakfast - I’ve not visited for lunch, but will soon!
This place was pretty average. I ordered the breakfast croissant and it was okay. It was a bit greasy and bland. The hashbrowns were average. They also must’ve been low on staff because there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. She was great but the poor girl was overwhelmed. Probably will not be coming back.
Food was great and our server was amazing!! She was so upbeat, helpful and super busy doing seating, taking orders, delivering orders and bussing tables!! She stopped several times to make sure we were doing good!! The sunny side eggs were right on the spot, bacon was deliciously crispy, we were so glad we stopped by this place, we will definitely be coming back for more, 100% recommended. Kid-friendliness: Staff was super friendly and attentive, anything needed the waitress was just there to refill our drinks.
Went here because of the good reviews. The initial service when seating was good, but after ordering our food it took 30-40 minutes for a burger and an omelette when it wasn’t very busy. I ordered the hangover burger which was a special, and the sunny side up egg that was served with it was crispy on the bottom and raw on the top the egg whites weren’t even close to being set, like they dropped an egg in a way too hot pan and then put it on the burger. My significant other ordered an omelette with a side of pancakes, it took an additional 20-23 minutes to get two pancakes, which were brought out cold like they were forgotten about. While all of this was happening our waiter never came over once for any sort of refill on drinks or anything. This could have just been an unlucky occurrence, but I don’t recommend coming here at all.
The food is delicious, however, it can take a significant amount of time to be served- the last time I was there we watched people sit down 10-15 minutes after us and have their order taken before we even spoke to a server- after going to the counter and reminding them we are there, we watched 2 more tables have orders taken before us. Then the wait staff made a lot of excuses and blamed other staff for their failure. Then after we finally got food it took an additional 10 mins to get our condiments.
I had the best breakfast I have ever had here. Our server was absolutely phenomenal and provided fantastic service and gave excellent recommendations on the menu. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast with Dutch apples and every single bite was delicious. My friend ordered the toasted breakfast croissant and it was buttery and flakey in the best way. We will definitely be returning and I can't wait to try what other delicious options this place has available.
We stumbled onto this place a few years ago. It's the first place I think of whenever we're in the area for breakfast/brunch. The breakfast is amazing and the portions are great. You will not be disappointed!Food: 5/5
Fabulous service! Great prices and large quantity of food. We had a variety of food ordered at our table and they were even able to split the cost of one dish between 2 seperate bills. The gravy on the Chicken Fried Steak was very bland and the breading was mediocre at best and the ribeye that came with the steak and eggs was so thin. The crepes were god but they did not come stuffed with cream cheese unless you asked specifically.
Amended 31JAN23… I was reconciling my CC statement and just noticed Chris double charged me for an order he failed to bring see below. This was insult, added to injury, added to my credit card. Bottom line, I won’t be returning to Chefo’s. Original post… I’d started going to Chefo’s over three years ago and have been there probably 20+ times. I was impressed, but not anymore. The poor service and declining food quality now offsets where they had excelled. I’ve given them several chances in the past three months and they’ve struck out. The last time was similar to what I’ve recently experienced. We sat down and it took 15 minutes before I complained and Chris owners son? brought menus and took our drink orders. He pointed out our server and said she would be right over. We watched for another 5 minutes while she did everything, but stop by and say she was sorry for the wait and would be right there. I’m not looking for anything, but recognition that they’ve treated a fairly regular Customer poorly. The tables are dirty, service is slow and impersonal. My orders have been delivered late, wrong, and the food quality is declining. We left after just a half cup of coffee. Contrast this with their competitor, Chico’s, where I ended up. We’ve sat down and within 12 minutes I’m on my second cup of coffee and we’re sharing my GF’s soup. The greeter took our drink orders and we’ve spoken with two friendly servers. Chefo’s is still busy, but I’ve seen other disappointed Customers wait, scowl, and ask for their just delivered food to be boxed right away. Best pancakes in town. They just seem to have all the right stuff! All the food is so good here. I think it's my favorite breakfast place.Food: 5/5
