We used Ryan for our wedding and had an incredibly disappointing experience.... To start he was 2 hours late to the venue... He ran out of food half way though our event... He started serving raw chicken after he ran out of food halfway through the event... He was extremely rude to our host couple when they were just checking in on the status of the food to feed our guest... After all of this he just left the venue and we have not heard a word from him. We reached out to Ryan the following day explaining what we had heard from our guests and asking for an explanation. He never responded to our email. I hope that this does not happen to anyone else...
As Parents of the Bride we were very disappointed. The caterer set up late, they were suppose to be there at 3:00 but showed up at 4:45 and dinner was suppose to be served at 5:15. The food that the first half of the guests did receive was good but by table 10 we were running out with a total of 20 tables… the last 5 tables waited over an hour to get the food he was making out of his truck. Super disappointing, he did not apologize let alone get back to my daughter after she addressed the day..would not recommend booking him for events.
I booked for my wedding reception, we went with bbq chicken, brisket, mashed potato's, Mac and cheese and a salad. He charged us 600 extra dollars for cheese cake which we picked flavors for and another 200 for coffee, sugar and cups. He stated he has catered our venue before Hart Ranch-coordinator said she had not seen his company before he said he would be there for set up at 3 so dinner could be served at 5:15. Wedding party arrived at the venue at 4:45 and his truck pulled in not shortly after.....he came up to me the bride asking where he should set up...my uncle and aunt helped them set up for the buffet that was supposed to be ready to serve at this point. We quoted him 150 for dinner and at least 8-10 of our guests did not show up but he still ran out of food at table 13 out of 19...many guests said when they went through they were basically scraping the bottom to get food or there was only buns and lettuce left. He was making things in his food truck that was supposed to already be made ahead of time. 3 tables got raw chicken which was really concerning due to multiple pregnant guests at our wedding. Cheesecake did not get set out until an hour after the dance started and a lot of it went to waste as well as many were not the flavors we picked out Many of our guests ended up leaving early to go eat , the last 4 tables had to wait an extra 40-60 min after dinner should have been serve because he was bringing out small potions of everything he ran out of . Keep in mind we had most of our guest traveling over 6 hours to be there and celebrate with us....and this is the service we provided them for our wedding ...it was so embarrassing He never apologized, reached out the next day to explain what happened or anything. I did email him the next day going through what I was disappointed with but he never responded he never took longer than a day to respond back when corresponding in the past Our day was so great and it sucks to have a sick feeling about the whole situation because he couldn't follow through. He makes you pay everything including gratuity ahead of time and it just felt super unprofessional how he delivered the service.
Has not refunded us since we cancelled his catering service before our wedding. We cancelled the service because I had seen rumors of him online ignoring a couple in the final days before their wedding, and because I personally noticed similar communication issues even 3 months before our wedding. Ryan emailed my husband saying that he would return our deposit to us. After 6 weeks, my husband asked where the money was, and he said that he had sent it and he doesn’t know where it could be. We are very disappointed, but glad we found a reliable caterer in time.
The Chef's Table crew were available to cater our welcome party at the last minute when our original caterer had to drop out because their crew had contracted COVID. Ryan was able to pull together an incredible menu of heavy apps and within our budget within -- literally -- 48 hrs!! We had SO many guests come up to us and tell us how amazing the food was specifically the Korean BBQ ribs!! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing food at a great price!! Thank you again, Ryan and crew!!
We were going to use Ryan for our reception but unfortunately our plans changed on our end due to no fault of his own. Ryan was great at communicating with my wedding planner and responded Immediately. We appreciate your customer service!

I hired ryan to do a rehearsal dinner at the end of January, according to the contract he allowed 4 week notice to cancel, i gave him 5 week notice to cancel, but he refuses to give me my deposit back and won’t return my calls. moral of the story is: do not do business with this company. I had to learn the hard way. Ryan, the owner is overrated as a chef and frankly, a very dishonest businessman.
It took 7months for Ryan to make good on the bad checks he wrote us. Many months of pleading and hounding him for payment. He did however, pay us in full. So hire at your own risk, but I will never hire him again!
I am very glad to have found this company for the delivery of the food supplies I need for my store. They are amazing professionals and their trucks are always on time. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs reliable services. Thank you, and keep it up!
