Is a bar with many TVs showing sports. Food is ok, service could be better, the atmosphere to watch a game is all right. They're open on sundays, closed on mondays.Food: 3/5
Nice place and nice ambience. Had fries and chocolate brownie yesterday. Worth to recommend this place. Will definitely try their signature Mac n cheese one day.
I had high expectations being an American bar, the food is not bad but not the best. The service is bad, they treat you with indifference, literally it is a place where they have the idea of: "you eat and you leave".
Awesome place to drink apple cider. Also the ribs are so good and tasty. It gets too crowded when there is a soccer game, but that’s fine :
Bei far the worst cheeseburger and onio nrings ever. Meat was dry, almost crispy. The bun was grilled but probably 2 hours before the burger was served and the onion rings were premade, probably frozen.
Very good hamburger and beer! Good job guys
Slow service. Ordered buffalo wings, but buffalo wings are not buffalo wings and are small wings breaded and sauced with salsa. Thought this was a mistake so I ordered a side of Buffalo sauce and they gave me a side of salsa. In the end I was charged for the extra salsa which we eventually got off the bill after arguing. Burger wasn't super and probably was a Frozen patty from somewhere. Ordered a baked potato, but I watched him cook it in the microwave. Overall experience wasn't good and would not recommend or return. My advice is that you buy some chicken legs at lidl, make some real buffalo sauce takes 5 min and pour it on the wings. It'll take the same amount of time as if you would go out and dine at a restaurant and you won't regret it. And if you are at a hotel and cannot cook then eat elsewhere. My recommendation to the restaurant is visit the USA, learn some recipes and be more serious about calling your establishment American.
Spent a lot of time here whilst on working trips to Jena, it's a go to location for a meal and a beer. The staff have always been very cordial to myself, and my colleagues. On one of our trips they accommodated us by putting on Wales V Northern Ireland on the televisions, and nominated Wales as the home team for the evening - as such they all supported Wales with us. A great place, and lots of good memories from my visits to Jena!
Like many people we also had very bad service and rude waiters. We waited 1h for our drinks and food, even if there were not many people sunday evening. We asked to change one fork and knife because they were dirty, and the waiter came back with the same ones, they had the exact same stains. I give 2 stars only because the food was ok.
Good sitting arrangements, and the service was good. Staffs speak English in case you don't have German literacy. A good place. Could be a little spacious.
